7/14/2025 1:10pm Not talking about fully upright. This is more like a hoods vs drops positioning. Look at the seated climbing position of a tour pro on steep grades, here aero is not a factor and it's all about putting out efficient power, they won't be hunched over in the drops, they will be sitting up taller and on the hoods. Back...

7/14/2025 10:32am The bunched up ball isn't the strongest power position, it's weak core giving out and you still pushing with the hamstrings that makes it feel like it's a power position. It's a closed off hip angle. A more open hip angle and upright position allows for more power. Modern TT positions are placing the hands up higher to get this...

7/10/2025 12:02pm Going to be expensive trying to chase UCI points in Indonesia and Chile in Sept and Oct to try and maintain enough points to keep the team on the WC.

7/10/2025 11:10am Looks like Dyname won't be exclusive to Rocky any more. https://bikerumor.com/single-and-looking-to-mingle-dyname-motors-are-no… Wonder if anyone will build with it? It also looks like the S4 Pro is different than the current 4.0 version used by Rocky? https://www.dyname.ca/

7/10/2025 9:24am The BCD is completely different than the concept from Cannondale. It has two pivots for the swingarm, each pivot with it's own shock and those shocks would be tuned specific to each pivot. The low pivot would have a shock tune with lower LS compression and really high HS compression. The high pivot would then have lower relative HS compression...

7/9/2025 9:48am I think the teams on the ground there at the event are the barometer of if this was an issue. I've only listened to the Downtime post show and Andora pre-show and is seems none of them (Neko, Kilmurray, and Oli) think it was an issue. Troy didn't mention it in his race vlog on Youtube. Are any teams up...

7/8/2025 8:48pm You need to give The Downtime Andora pre shoe a listen. https://www.downtimepodcast.com/ Chris Kilmurray first calls out your flat earth theory then explained why the hold was the time it was.

7/8/2025 11:19am I think points are counted on a revolving calendar. Last years points are good for 12 months....so rider started the season with 300 pts and as we move through the year the points from last year drop off when they reach 12 months. \ There will certainly be some guys that will need to go race some national level UCI...

7/8/2025 9:43am Uh maybe it IS Jackson's bike setup that does make it easier for him to butter all those backsides and some of us are willing to experiment to see if it helps.

7/7/2025 9:30am Also regarding EDR riders sizing down. These guys are getting longer CS's relative to the WB and stack is roughly the same. Yes the WB is shorter, but the balance is better.

7/7/2025 8:49am People are asking for size L and XL to have the same proportions as size M. Ignore the total WB length number, there is no too long, and scale up the CS and stack to match the same proportion when increasing reach.

7/6/2025 5:33pm Just watched some of the replay on Flo. Watched the top three Women, then about 6 of the men's. I don't get the constant hate, the guys in the booth did a good job. Maybe if tried to watch the whole broadcast from start to end, all 4 hours I would get tired of them.

7/6/2025 5:24pm See Paul Aston for experiments in getting the same/similar ratios for taller guys. As a guy that is 182cm tall riding a trail bike with 1300mm wheelbase on plenty of janky right Shore trails I would say your thoughts on wheelbase are wrong. Do I want to go longer? Not for a 160mm trail bike, but for longer travel I...

7/6/2025 10:27am Dammit reading that review of the Intend doesn't help curb the want for one. Would love to buy the stripped down Essential and drop iny Ohlins 36 air cart and TTX18 damper. Best of both worlds.
