If you read through it he did a batch of these cranks specifically for a WC DH team that was sponsored by Shimano...so no need to worry about warranty. Shimano now provides the teams with Saint cranks able to direct mount the Ochain. I am sure if we geek out back through old race photos and find the first team...

I think you've got rose colored glasses on regarding the Amflow frame. The v1 got a lot of criticism for being very flexy, particularly in the rear end. It had the dubious design choice of a yoke-driven trunnion shock (Vorsprung says in their suspension design manual that if you end up with that design, you should "put down the bong and start again"). Slapping Fox suspension and Transmission drivetrain on it isn't some genius product manager move - almost every bike out there does that these days. The wheels, hubs, bars, and stem are all in-house products and not exactly...

Watch it slowly and Troy passes the marshall who looks like he is reaching for his flag. Look farther down the track and you see Jed is still in the process of crashing and hadn’t even gone off the track completely yet. All this on a fast but fairly straightforward section of track that doesn’t see a lot of crashes over the years so probably why you don’t see a Marshall every 100 feet. I’d feel the same way if was Jackson just like I don’t feel Hardline needs to pad every tree especially in a tech section like the...

Well at least this Crankworx event has a theme some. Going to be disappointed if I don't see a Wayne and Garth at the big event.

I have my 9yr old on a mega mini mullet. Front is 24" and the rear is 20" inch. It's a hardtail with a Manitou kids fork, it looks like an old school freeride hardtail with a Monster T. He dug out an old white Chromag seat from my spares pile and put it on, the proportions of the adult...

The Mavens thing is crazy. The bike world has been gaslit into believing that massaging pistons on brand new brakes from the factory is supposed to be normal and accepted. Pre Mavens this was never done on new brakes.
My interpretation here is that this bike was in the pipeline before things went sideways for Rocky and the money was already spent. R&D costs on the motor was already burnt ages ago. Seems to be a lot of hate on the new Rocky because it's not a DJI an it looks different. Not a single comment on it's geo...

Just to clarify, he didn't say it WAS a high pivot. He said " design lends itself to a high pivot suspension design". I think they should have used the black frames for all their lead marketing images as it looks better. The Rocky Dyname is a fundamentally different motor to everything else on the market. Starts with a low...
Soon enough there will be full "ECU" swaps for the commercial ebike motors. There have already been some for a few of the Bafang offerings. No locks and motor controllers that are able to handle much higher amps. Plug n play 3000w that just looks like a regular bike. 3000w will likely shred the gears...but someone will determine that replacing...
Single cs length across all sizes. Why not a replaceable dropout and give the people options? Or two swingarms and adjust a short for S/M and longer for L/XL? Does it all really just come down to mold costs? The bike's silhouette looks great and kinematics look good.
