Honestly I don't think GT is going to go away entirely. I would bet that they re launch the brand in 2026, with a stripped down more focused MTB lineup.

Hoping someone in this can help. I have a set of Hayes A4 and looking for options for integrated mixmaster setups. I have a oneup lever and SRAM t-type pod shifter. Any idea what the best options are out there to remove the clutter on the bars and put it on all the hayes? So far it seems the Formula Mixmaster left should work with the Oneup lever as an option, but can't figure out if one of those would work with the pod, and can't find what ones may work. I might just go with the standard pod mount...

Second on the concerns with long term support. Given what we've seen from the road world with Chinese electronic drivetrains, their views on product releases and updates are very different from how most Western consumers look at it. I think Ltwoo were selling 3 different iterations of their flagship drivetrain at the same time under the same name, and the...

Yes they do, but my understanding is that they are a team sponsored by Transition, or at least riding Transition bikes, and not run by Transition. Just like how Team High Country rides Atherton bikes now, but the Athertons aren't running the team. Transition could now pivot Transition Factory Racing into a national level focused team too, which would be...

Seeing that Transition Factory Racing is shutting down due to the new WC changes. I know they weren't the biggest team out there but it still sucks. It would be cool to see teams like Transition Factory that can't support being in the world cup anymore move over to being a National team, focusing on the Monster Energy races and...

Above the bb for sure for the same reasons listed above. Is it going to be a pure single pivot like a Starling or are you going to use some sort of link to manipulate the leverage ratio? You would have an average leverage ratio of like 2.15 if you want to use a 230x65mm stroke shock for 140mm of...

Almost sounds like running the Ardent front Ikon rear combo for aggressive xc. You don't have much traction anywhere but the front and rear let go at bassically the same time and you two wheel drift every corner!

Do you mean that drop pedals being more prevalent would allow bikes to be designed with a higher bb? And what kinematics are you meaning? Like the arc radius when cornering? How quickly the bike can lean over?
Most brake systems don't need to be over pressurized to make them feel OK haha. I've done that with a ton of Sram brakes, it's bassically a habit now when ever I bleed them, and I've not seen any issues at the master cylinder. I haven't really tried it with brakes from other brands since their feel was generally better...

Personally, I really like small gaps between gears. Being able to have a gear that I can match to the slope, my power output, and what cadence is comfortable to me given the amount of energy I have is awesome, and having more gears with smaller steps between them gives that to me. It's not something I would say I...

The Tioga ones were hype when they came out, at least 16 year old me though they were haha. I get the idea with these, get the center of gravity lower while still having good clearance, not a bad idea, but it's a marginal gain at best with some big drawbacks. My big issue with these is that they are...

I was OK with the Lewis brakes because of them being pretty open about them reverse engineering the trickstuff brakes and them gradually moving away from that design, but those cranks are ridiculous. Of all the cranks to rip off, why some of the ugliest on the market haha? Just don't get their visual appeal.
