As an e-biker, I believe the tagline to be true and I won’t say anything other than “this is not for me.”

I've got around 20 different carbon bars in my shed, used them all. The new V2 OneUp carbon is a bit too flexy for me, the V1 is the sweet spot. The Enve M7 is noticeably stiffer than the OneUp V1 or V2, so much that i've ditched it for the M6 31.8. Renthal and Deity are well constructed, but again, like the M7, too stiff for my old wrists. Aluminum bars feel like metal and resonate like metal, so i've not ridden them in years. TLDR: OneUp V1 carbon 35 and the Enve M6 31.8 are the sweet spot...

it's not $500 per team... the 25 UCI series teams don't pay this. and they all have media teams at each round, some with as many as 5 photo, video, social media people. it's not 20 teams sharing the same 5 people, or a small group with access controlling all the content as you're claiming there's no charge for any team, rider, etc to shoot photos. and outside the series teams there's a fee for video because of TV and broadcast rights. anyone saying they lost their team job over that fee likely wasnt getting paid in the first place...

this I did hear from a few privateer teams and non paddock partner brands/editorial The UCI team fees cover media rights for the 20-25 teams, and rhey have access to an additional additional content pool of WBD stuff if not in that group your team/brand has to pay for media rights. there is no fee for photography, just video. And what breaks down to essentially $300/round seems reasonable Still not sure how anyone's lost their job or coverage has been restricted. other rhan there no longer being 50 kids with video cameras in the finish corral shooting for kicks World...

Because I'm a big world cup fan and have been for two decades. And in 2025 I enjoyed more "independent" and rider made media content than ever. Vital Raw, PBs stuff, daily Instagram stuff. Sleeper Shredits, riders YouTubes, official GoPro course previews, and all the stuff that comes post race too. Arguably too much to mention..but because some guy says he heard some other dudes lost their job it's all doom and gloom? Yeah. No thanks. Maybe they lost their jobs cos they are bad at their job?

i dont know how things play out for Ed... But if this means no WynTV and no Ed Bull Media House next year... as well as a limited Vital Raw schedule again? we're up a certain creek without a particular paddle ideal scenario would be wyn and ed teaming up, figuratively and literally, and being able to cover the races with each other. wyn more on interviews and ed more on riding. i dunno... a man can dream

Not to get all “well actually” on you Schroeder, but… your braking traction actually comes from the backside of the knob so the ramping has no effect here. Those nice straight edges on the back of the knobs are what’s giving that good bite on a tire like the Tacky Chan or the DHR.

Dialed was fantastic with all of it, the stories, the editing, and all around fun by Shaffer, and Jake. Killer work. It is sorely missed, and a shame that Fox shut it down. It was the essence of the World Cup week. One day I hope it makes a comeback.

This last season wasn't great coverage, because in part he was injured. I watch his channel during race season, for the POV practice laps. I still get a kick out of the racers perspective and watching he speed and track evolve. I still miss Fox's "Dialed" series, but that me LOL

Dharco doesn’t make helmets, it’s only natural that they’d have a helmet and protection sponsor.

Great to see Adidas getting more involved. All of the FiveTen riders have been wearing and marketing a lot of Adidas Terrex clothing these past few years. As well as some of their freeride athletes. Vali, Amaury, Myriam and maybe some others stand out as big promotors of the Terrex stuff. Although I am Curious to see though what helmets, armour and other gear Norco Will wear this season. Or whether riders can have personal deals in those areas?

I think Adidas being a title sponsor of the Norco team is pretty big news. They are a huge and well recognised brand, so it's a great thing for mountain biking.
