You might have already figured this out by now but if the torque wrench you're using is one-way only, to tighten the drive side of an ISO threaded BB all you need to do is poke an extension bar through the BB shell into the BB tool from the non-drive side... Also works on UDHs etc.

Rumour of my demise have been exaggerated. We are safe. But we are forever changed. A water & wind event of near biblical proportions hit us & has taken far more lives than can be counted. Didn't know where to make my one post, but this will be it for a long time. No politician, no plan, no design could have stopped anything that happened here. A stream I could step across took the first home at the top of it. A friend lost 10 members of his family saving his wife and kids watching his parents & relatives swept...

I'm going to say the bolts were loose and once 4 of them were out the 2 remaining tabs had o chance. Going by the way those CPS washers have been installed (under the mount instead of the calliper) I don't have a lot of faith that anything was mounted correctly

Yeah, I fail to see what the problem is. When a chain snaps it's anyone's guess what happens next. Sometimes they drop out of the bike harmlessly, sometimes you go over the bars, sometimes they get sucked into the wheel. Sometimes you're Aaron Gwin and you win the race and sometimes you're Luca Shaw and you break your back.
