Smashpot V2 is dual rate with HBO in 180mm+. Progressive coils do exist in motos, we actually pulled them out for linear on the road side. Might be a lack of volume, too niche within a niche sport.

I wonder how many people freaked out when Kaz said something to the effect of, "It's funny when people in the chat refer to Vital as the other site.. Like you can't say their name here.. We don't care if you visit more than one site. In fact, you should. Get another opinion before spending your money..." This was on the podcast within the last few weeks.

WRP kit doesn’t help with pedal feedback from chain growth or chain damping. I think when your suspension requires chain growth, the WRP hub will engage in lower wheel speed situations. I have been told the O-Chain/WRP combo works well. O-Chain should have some lower cost options in the future or you can look at Rimpact, which I think b/c...

It’s hard to keep the independent air chambers from leaking one way or another. Ie neg leaking into positive. Dimple resets any leak every stroke. It’s huge for durability.

The current V10.8 is a very good all-round DH platform. Very good ability to jump, pump, and maintain speed. Maintenance is easier with all the bearings in the two links. With the amount of adjustability you can also make it suit many riders. Recommended sag is 21-24%. Square edge isn’t as good high-pivots, so it won’t eat chunk the same...

I am running a Smashpot V2, I think Steve fixed most of those HBO issues, he said about 5lbs of additional rebound. Adjustment range is larger and moved to 5wt oil. Also HBO would probably make fork travel adjustments more difficult, depending on implementation.
Atherton team was running the high POE Stans mag hub with the O-Chain. B/C you get a consistent degree of movement from the O-Chain, you don’t need to have extra degrees from the freehub. There was also less drag with that hub, so not sure where their priorities were. I am not sure how you would design an O-Chain to...

You didn’t assign a value to “limited edition” tag with custom paint, that value varies based on the individual. Obviously if we are running the math on parts, we are not the target demographic. Probably be the same peeps who have an AMEX Black card.

I have both O-Chain and Sidekick on two different bikes. The elastomers on the O-Chain seem to do a better job at reducing some pedal feedback. Also when you engage a Sidekick quickly, going to flat or casing, there is noticeable thunk, when the pawls engage. Also there is some movement before the elastomers engage, there are three very light...
