Brown Sugar is Tuhoto, blue bus obviously Pivot. Laid back style would match that team and the Crankworx participation of PFR matches up with Tuhoto’s experience and success on that tour. Not sure anyone mentioned that before on this thread?

Guys like Brett and Warner make any mtb event way more fun for the audience. Especially the in person audience but they are pretty dang good at the media side as well. Sure they aren’t growing the sport by riding bikes. But by having a paycheck and budget to go to these events they help the sport and give the brands writing those paychecks credibility.

My two cents. I like watching “second tier” riders right along side the pointy end dudes. Especially when you get to see a rider develop over a few seasons. The rider that starts to qualify more regularly, then becomes a top 15-20 dude, then top 10, and finally a podium threat. I like to see this on the same courses as Loic and Jackson, it gives me scale. I love WC racing, I pay to watch. I am not going to suddenly start paying close attention to IXS Cups. I’ll look at the results of a Monster Energy Series race...

I could see him one a one year contract with intense for the named reasons. Why should fW take dak?! They have a superfunctional, young and uprising team with a superstar that delivers. If i was Mulally, i would get Maples to invest in the future and stack up Vermettes income, if this has not already happened/is part of the contract.

First things first, It wasnt on a pit bike. Secondly you can get hurt doing anything in life.. that’s life. And thirdly if you’d listened to any of his pod casts last year you would have heard him speak about the meltdowns himself and discuss how he has grown as a person and doesn’t do this anymore. Before you criticise the guy atleast have a small understanding of what you’re criticising.

Results were pretty damn good before he crashed a bit 2 race ago. He was 6 or 7 in the overall. With an almost no-budged-team. He has also learned not to overcook the runs like 3 years ago or so.

Jenna won as many races as Jake Jewett last year. ...and she won the Women's Elite New Zealand Continental Series race this last weekend beating Sascha Earnest who by many accounts is a podium threat for this upcoming women's World Cup season. It's fun to pretend she's only around because her and BK are together, but I think a tough couple seasons for injuries made us forget that she's actually pretty fast and was a Junior World Champ.
