I'm always dubious about yet another new grip/pedal/etc. but upon closer inspection, these actually look nice and decently priced. However for now I'll probably stick to push on BMX grips. Insanely comfortable AND cheap.

Brage is definitely changing the game and forging his own path. How he manages to send himself off those drops knowing full well that he can sink that front wheel in at any time is beyond me...

I know I'm late to this party, but the difference between a 650b front wheel and a 29" front wheel is enormous in terms of stack height. The same head tube length will be 40 mm lower on a 650b front wheel and 650b specific fork. Especially in a world where manufacturers are already running teeny tiny head tubes (90mm!!) on some size small bikes to get that stack down for small riders, a 650b front wheel makes a big difference in getting small bike geometry and extra large bike geometry into the same ballpark of body position and handling.

I could see applications for large wheels. Gravel and exploration bikes - heck yes. I used to love dirt road rambles when I lived in New England. Here in Colorado the fore roads and dirt roads are terrifying. Washboarded, bedrock. 30 miles in your teeth are rattling out. 32” wheels on a steel frame with swoopy stays that add compliance, 68*HA and lots of trail, low BB so you’re riding in the bike. Wouldn’t sprint but neither do I. Sounds comfy. Sounds like something Surly should make. Size L, XL, XXL, and Shaq.

Shimano released earnings today and continues to churn along "doing just fine". No surprise. https://www.bicycleretailer.com/international/2025/02/12/shimano-2024-s…
