Great question. I don't know yet. I'm going to ride the fork when it gets back without any additional info, and then follow up with Push to get the details. Whenever possible, I try to know less during a product test so I can hopefully avoid confirmation bias.

This is definitely a thing, although more common among DH racers. There's a sweet spot for the casing feel that riders are looking for. A brand new tire needs a couple runs to soften up and then there are X (varies) number of runs with the casing in that sweet spot before it starts to go away. It's quite common for mechanics to swap out tires after a set amount of runs, long before the tread is gone.

I was just commenting on how it was fairly clear that WBD hadn't made a clear and targeted effort to delete the RB brand from WCs over the last 3 seasons. I guess the question is how picky are you? No disrespect intended, but I think this forum is an assembly of the nitpickiest nitpickers in the world when it comes to brake lever feel and power. The new XT and XTR brakes are totally adequate for mountain biking and ebikes, and if you need more power, you can pair them with a big thick rotor (like a 220mm/2.0mm SRAM HS2). I have an Orbea Wild with the Bosch Gen 5 motor. Pretty impressed with it even with “only” a 600wh battery. I can get 5200’ of climbing with almost all of that climbing in tour+ at the default settings. Lots of room for tunability in the app too.
