I definitely think you are missing a bike... But solid review nonetheless, really enjoyed that! Although I think you went halfway on this. You wanted to do a back-to-back, strict comparison of the bikes. Well bike makers don't make the parts, so why would you have different parts on each bike? If you wanted to do a 'different' review and properly review each bike back-to-back I personally think you should have had the same part spec(mainly wheels/tires, brakes, suspension, cockpit.) Then you really find out which 'bike' is the best, as in rear suspension feel/geo. And then you can add...

You guys should do an aggressive 27.5 trail bike test, and include some bikes like the new Transition Scout, Canyon Spectral, Pivot Mach 5.5, and the Guerrilla Gravity ShredDogg

My first thought was, "Those dudes are so stoked!". Cool to see such an invested group of individuals basically building the equivalent of a castle for a WC track. Similarly, WC #1 will be sponsored by #SquidMats (Repurposed yoga mats to lay on while shooting), Bubble Wrap, and nail polish.

Agreed, by far the best article and pics on the Capra that appeared online today. Well done! Nothing game changing but another solid and well priced bike from YT. A shoot out with the Enduro, Nomad and Wreckoning would be fun.

I want high end shocks, brakes and tires. House brand the piss out of it with external cable routing from there. I'm not a weight snob. I want performance componentry and could care less about the rest. A basic drivetrain with clutch derailleur is 10 times better than old school stuff anyway.

Cannot believe that the old argument of "there's not the right girl for the team" pass that easy in the conversation. I you take the time to look, you will find. Maybe she's not gonna be all ready for you because it's hard like hell to be on a world cup as a privater but she's there. Just take the example of Miranda Miller, long time on the podium, long time without any real sponsor. She had it harder than most men, That being said, it is unfair to ask that question to the only women who run a worldcup...

Thank you! This is a fun one to design! One design goal was to get the CG as low as possible and mount the rear shock as low as possible in the frame. This is a 100% Custom Suspension Kinematics and Suspension Design: with the High pivot rear triangle working together with a pull link and rocker link to actuate the rear shock. Will look into the suspension action video and get back to you. Thank you!!

Great design! How is the shock actuated? High pivot and a linkage similar to what Commencal uses? Would love to see a suspension action video.
