Oven cleaner in a bucket works, but can't be any of the newer Eviro-Friendly stuff. Gotta keep checking it though and use rubber gloves. Too long and it'll start to get a black finish. Can be scotch-brited and polished back to silver though. There are a few Youtube videos (non-bike specific) on doing it.

Great review. Looked like a blast riding. Definitely concur with the 5 Star rating. Aside from maybe having a chip out back to shorten or extend the CS length, they pretty much nailed the Geo, Spec, & Price on this thing. Just need an extra $6K and I'm in

If you're considering buying a G16, it's pretty likely that you'll already have read the whole internet about these bikes. They're pretty radical and you don't just pick one up from your LBS. It's not exactly an impulse decision. Well if you haven't managed to ride one yet, the good news is that all the hype is real - and you really should consider testing one before you look at other options. The basic fact is that they're just faster than anything else - and by miles. Riding a G16 is like listening to a really load and distorted music...

That makes sense. Not sure if its the same issue, but The other guys fork is black with the orange ohlins logo. Either way, it gave me a chuckle today and we all need them now more than ever. Cheers!
