Impressed on the direction that bike manufacturers are going now. Price, spec of choice, plus a lifetime warranty. I'd expect more will choose the Deore build with the microspline hub to be able to upgrade without replacing a rear hub unlike the SX Build with its HG driver.

Simply because this build was made from the bucks I had after selling my previous Genius frame kit. I kept what was working or was light/strong enough and bought the rest without burning the budget. X01 drivetrain had no issues while the AXS dropper doesn't exist in 200mm. The Transfer is trouble-free and without a battery to recharge.

Although my Turbine R wheelset isn't by any means cheap, I can't see the carbon hoops providing a noticeably better ride for $500 more initially at almost 100 grams heavier in 27.5. Plus that's enough coin for a bike yoke dropper and this new saddle. That said I prefer the 135mm wide WTB volt saddles over the course of several decades of riding, so I'd be interested to know how the 130 version of the bike yoke saddle compares in the comfort department, if anyone has rode on both. On a different note, kudos on the sick manual skills. Looks...

All good advice for those that ride carbon. However, having a Raw Nicolai/Geometron G1 is probably the best defense for the reasons in this article. Yes, it might be a bit heavier than most with all Aluminum parts and even Atlas DH cranks, but it's so nice to ride without worry. TBH 35.5 lbs really doesn't seem to be that heavy nowadays with flats included.

Did this set up a while back without issue, but you have to be willing to accept a shorter 448mm reach with 160 29'r up front. The EXO 2.6's are decent for less aggressive trail riding, but squirm around too much for my taste. DD or at least EXO + with inserts would help & give a much more stable feel for what this bike is built for.

Nice dropper to. 3rd year on my 160 Revive without issue. Worth the extra cash initially to get the best feeling dropper out there that will last even in mud and snow each year.
