Pedal kickback isn't the issue they are solving but it's a welcome gain. The benefits of rearward axle path and lengthening the CS under compression within reason is the secret sauce.

that's a switchblade that's been painted and for some reason they put a firebird badge on it. I was a bit WTF too, it's been all over the gram for months. Edit, guy above hit the NOS button better, too soon junior!

Look at it from this angle, here in Australia, Covid thankfully didn't really shit in our cornflakes like the rest of the world as far as financially and lives lost. But we cannot travel internationally. So you have a bunch of people, working from home, saving god knows how much by not commuting and going to Bali for the 8th...

Hey Alek, great implementation! I think the use of a LiDar sensor is brilliant, I didn't think of that in my bachelor thesis where I designed a similar system some years ago, also using an Arduino. My design uses a pressure sensor connected to the fork or shock, like the Shockwiz does, but connecting the sensor to the air chamber and precisely converting the pressure changes into movement of the suspension element was quite a pain at first. Like you, I also store the data on an SD card. After managing to achieve a maximum of about 50 Hz in...

Vital MTB / PB had a couple of stories / picture groups of 2 of his other frames. This one looks like it takes ideas from both of those (though, goodness knows what order these 3 bikes of his I've seen, were made / tested in) : one was a high pivot / idler wheel set up, but with a 'hanging arm' from the TT / near the seat post, with the shock mounted onto the TT, and a Horst link type (with Girder / Trellis type 'Seat Stays') drop out set up. The other was a rocker on the...

What would be amazing, is that the Aurum/Range are infact the same bike! Imagine if it was a link or shock stroke change away from 170mm to 200mm (or 190) and a flip chip to adapt the geo for the fork. If this was the case, I'd be EXTREMELY interested. Can't justify a DH bike anymore, but those 2-3 times...

I saw an Intend fork in the flesh at the 2018 World Champs in Lenzerheide , as we were sleeping in the parking lot, next to Nina Hoffman's van, who was then on Intend. That fork looked amazing. I think I asked ”may I touch it?”. The last time when I did that was in 1999 and the item of desire was a GT STS Lobo, an absurd bike to have in Eastern Europe during those days. Obviously, I came here to brag that I saw that fork live and was in 2018 in Lenzeheide. Don't mind me. Mx

It's no co-incidence pretty much any privateer who wants to go fast is on a supreme! - Readily available - good value - even the base spec one rips - proven kinematic - be like Amaury
