"Pie Plates are overrated"..says the guy in PA. I lived in Colorado for 10yrs up until a little over a month ago. Plenty of hour or longer climbs starting out at 6000ft that wide range gears come in handy. It's no different than having 2-3 speeds up front as far as range and MUCH simpler

You're correct! Indoctrination at its finest. And sadly the person often doesn't even know. And when someone does have a differing opinion, they are often guilt tripped, threatened, or accused of racisim until they submit or are forced to stay quiet. Again evidence is right here in the replies. Either way I'll get off my soap box.. as a you and a few others have already said. I would rather keep politics out of here.

@20mmrain, you are 100% correct. Unfortunately, too many people think emotionally and blindly follow groups like this without knowing the facts. Even worse, they refuse to acknowledge facts and view these things with an open mind. The media and schools are indoctrinating, (brainwashing) these kids and that’s just wrong. Anyway Vital, please leave politics out of mountain biking, it doesn’t belong.

It’s really sad to see you getting down voted for stating facts. If you don’t believe what he said do some research and learn to think critically. It’s a tall order these days but it can be done if you take a few steps back and look at things subjectively and quit believing the propaganda that is being shouted.

It is NOT a human rights movement and it is totally politically based! I could get behind a BLM movement if that was indeed what it was really about! Instead it's supporters (not all I grant you) often are hurting the communities and people they are claiming to support. They do this by rioting, destroying stores, stealing and hurting people in these African American neighborhoods. Whats funny is when you look at these protests/riots a good portion of the people there are College age Caucasian kids bused in from the suburbs or professional protestors bused in from other communities and...

It is a movement with a complete political agenda! And fine! It's great you choose to support it. However I use mountain biking as an escape from life. And I disagree that this is the place for it. Just saying leave it All out! All of it!

Maybe I will. You have to remember that topics like these polarize the overall community. And about 50% of the nation disagree with how the movement is being handled. (Possibly more) Keep all of it out... And Vital will be much better off

Great now vital Mtb is shoving the BLM movement down my throat. Can't we leave political movements out of this and just ride? This is getting rediculous!

The widely accepted definition is posted in here. As I've shown multiple times in this thread, if the word "tribe" isn't okay, based on some form of negativity that surrounds the word, then crack that dictionary open and start burning pages. It can't end here if this is the proverbial bar. Literally no word is safe. Last I checked, the Yeti Tribe Gathering, or the use of the word "Tribe" by Yeti NEVER had any native american context. Zero. Nobody referenced Native Americans at any point in their marketing, their use of the word or at the gathering. It was...

Concentrate on building a bike that doesn't have it's rear end explode every year before this stuff.

...and uses the word "bitch" in the URL. Oh wait, its okay because its a woman that runs it? I guess? Man, I really hope I don't have to take a wokeness test soon because I most certainly will fail the what is okay and not okay section.

Skeen what you are really calling for is the end of a society. I used the best source for the definition. The one the most people use. The one that is accepted in real academia and makes no reference to color of your skin. If you want to throw out the dictionary, great, but you are also throwing out any semblance of a society, too. What is your aim? Anarchy? Again, its clear most people arguing the other side of this did not go to school to learn how to fix or build something but they did go to school...
