NEW UPDATE FROM GWIN via text. short version, clerical error with wrong spreadsheet used by media team for official worlds announcement yesterday. We all make mistakes, and I feel bad for everyone dealing w/ this one...riders and USAC team. Super bummer for everyone. When I sent an email asking if USAC had an official comment, I received an out-of-office reply about media team in Tokyo. ------------------------ Gwin's text today Hey brotha. Personally I've found much of the reaction to his post very disappointing. It's mostly along the lines of "it's too personally inconvenient for us to think that he might not have innocently posted a racial slur because we enjoy his bike riding so let's not bother and all agree he's a nice guy"

Still wondering about Katy Winton... I haven't even seen a rumour pop up about here, so their either playing it cool or things are weird for her. She's one of my fav riders in the EWS in general since she's clearly having so much fun out there and can't absolutely shred.

we totally got the point, BUT some dude from Switzerland wrote "the team manager of ms has personaly wanted danny back. He needs someone to put pressure on laury to finaly start winning more frequently" and we simply want to state that this is not the case. It's one thing to do some random guessing and share speculations, but another thing to make a bad joke on the back of riders.
