I´m still amazed that my Forestal Syrion hit´s above all the competitiors. It´s a 170mm Enduro blaster, as light as the Levo SL has the power of the midpack Fazua and with 350Wh not the least battery capacity. With the exception of the not so light Moterra SL it´s the lowest priced with comparable components (not going to say cheap at 9,7 grand). What´s crazy is, it´s been on the market for 2 years now, and the competition hasn´t caught up. It´s a niché brand though.

DVO have launched a new Diamond, which is basically just an updated 36mm Onyx (slightly updated CSU but with the same lowers, and supposedly more accurately machined bushings and dropouts for less binding, etc) with the newer D1 damper and SL air spring. Travel is 140mm-160mm and I'd assume that it is still adjustable with spacers similarly to the previous model, but could be wrong.

Asked my Ibis dealer when I could demo a Ripmo (they sold their V2s fleet and have none today) and they told me "we've built them." I asked when I could ride one, and they said "not yet, but soon". So it sounds like Ibis dealers have the new Ripmo and I'm hoping it's a mere days away...

I got a new ochain recently and asked about what the new version will do and got the answer that the new models have been completely overhauled and they have solved some of the problems that the current models had, whether it was the four locking screws, maintenance or dirt getting in. And it will only come in the versions that are currently discounted, so SRAM, Shimano and RaceFace. So probably nothing groundbreaking, just improvements.

Curious to see Fox's implementation. Not trying to bash Rockshox but flight attendant seems like a flop so far. Maybe took it too far with the front fork stuff. Honestly who needs/wants to firm up their Zeb. Too complicated for marginal gains.

Also, the wireless Blips now work standalone without having a controller or blipbox hidden somewhere: https://bikerumor.com/sram-wireless-blips-can-now-be-paired-w-o-shifter… Could be nice to have one on each side for up and down
