Additional Info I think I'm pretty close to having this bike finished (hence the 'work in progress')... There's arguably nothing left that can be upgraded further. My aim has been to get the best and most durable components and whilst I'm not a dentist I'm very lucky to have an amazing wife, no kids and a job in a bike shop. The only thing I'm currently considering is an XTR cassette and chain so it'll have that legendary HyperGlide+ shifting. I've had the 12spd XTR drivetrain before and for me, the SRAM doesn't quite compare. I do love the wireless stuff, I'd just prefer it to shift smoother and better under load. I'd say that the standard cable XO has the potential to shift better because you can alter your thumb pressure on the trigger. WIth AXS you just press the button and it will shift, so there's more potential for crappy gear changes as its a bit trickier to match your cadence.
