Any things you needed to do to make the Transmission work?  I have a 2018 Sentinel that I would try that on.

Yes, definitely do it! 

I had to do two major things: 1) buy a udh compatible thru axle from Transition; 2) remove the red bushing portion of the insert for Transmission, just keeping the black spacer/washer. The dropout is too small for the red bushing, but the width of the dropout is correct. I added a photo to show what I mean. 

Pay close attention to alignment as you put it all together, but if you torque to spec, it’s never moving. It’s important to follow the normal installation steps from SRAM in order to help get alignment correct. I’ve had no problems for over 2 years now.

Nice build! What size frame and what length One Up dropper? I’m starting a large Smuggler build and will be using the One Up dropper. Cheers!?

Thanks! Parts lare coming together. One more question... how does the Ribbon ride overall on the bike and how is the 41mm offset? ?

Very plush off the top with maybe less mid-stroke support than Rockshox Pike or Fox 34 (haven’t run the 36). I find that using the low-speed compression lever to adjust to each trail is helpful. I don’t mess with the ramp control as much, but it does change the ramp up a lot. I ran the 44 offset on the Fox 34, then the 46 on the Ribbon (I moved the 46 to the Vanquish). Moving to the 41 from the 46 was a big change, but I got used to it quickly. It’s more stable than the 46, but it turns in a low speeds more quickly now than before (which was a suprise). Overall I think the 41 is more what I’m looking for now that I’m used to it.
