Quick observations from the first looks through socials:
Women got the bigger side of the mountain (looker's right).
Which means the men's field is more cramped into a tighter space, so my prediction is we'll see a lot of shared features between the men's lines.
Brett Rheeder is back on the mountain, but this time as a digger for Tommy G. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we've seen a former champ return as a member of a dig crew before. Interesting, that's for sure.
The water thing definitely seems to make it harder to build properly packed big landings, it's already evident after the first dig day, even after the heavy rain the day before. I think they still have gravity-fed water pipes running down the mountain that they can access with water jugs to fill, they just can't use hoses.
This is the tallest Rampage venue out of the five, so they'll have to move quickly with the tools to get everything built in time for finals.
Interesting that this year's Digger Award goes to the team that leaves the terrain the most untouched and interferes with the natural shape of the mountain as little as possible.
These changes could be a step towards more natural freeride vibes, without the huge drops and jumps we've become used to. Or maybe it's simply because this is state land rather than private property, so they have to follow different rules. Not sure.
At the top, the men and women also share a bit of terrain. It'll be interesting to see how they work around each other on that shared section.
On the women's side, there are also a lot more existing features from previous years that they can utilize, like c-dog's "minister" step down.

Hannah and Cami putting their line together, with a sick chute up top and "The Minister" to close out the run with a banger - literally one of the biggest drops ever sent in the history of the sport:
They modified both the takeoff and the landing to make it a bit safer and less technical, which brings it down to around 75 feet into the sweet spot. Still absolutely massive. Clemens' original version was around 95 feet.
They extended the lip and are reshaping the landing some. If you watch the videos they mentioned how Clemens went ~98 feet and they want to go ~75 feet with some tweaks to make it a bit “safer”.
I'm just here for the comments about YT

reed boggs video update
This is Clemens Kaudela's "The Minister" drop...which is indeed in the women's zone this year. Will we see it sent again?

They’re going to the same landing?

That and quality. And customer service.
btw, who was it that sheared the headtube off a YT last year at Rampage?
I think it was Bienve
I cracked a Jeffsy a couple years back. They told me they'd get a new frame to me in 8-12 weeks. I received it almost 11 months later. Haha.
