Dropouts concept makes me excited (seeing plus 0 in photos so hopefully these bring some looong chainstays home) but damn that head tube length feels like low stack bike... uh oh. Fingers crossed for release (assuming within a few days).
damn, looks like cable shifting won‘t be an option on this beast, don‘t see an exit for the cable on the chainstays or front triangle where they usually exist.
too bad, could‘ve been my 3rd yeti after sb150 and sb160. money saved
One of the main reasons I haven’t considered a Yeti is because dropper insertion depth is (relatively) poor on Switch Infinity bikes. A kink in this new seattube is not giving me much hopes. And somehow new bike looks overall less stunning than SB160 did… Oh well

using a oneup 210 but could fit a 240 easily on a size L sb160.

Don´t be too happy too early 🤪.... I think the port for cable shifting is hiding right there under the CS protection.
I´m super happy I got myself a Rallon R7 beginning of the Season, otherwise this could have get really, really bad for my bank account. Stunning looking bike and when the sixfinitiy works as good as on the Lte and Mte: Hallelujah!!
Edit: sorry can´t upload the edited Photo ... but look at the open space on the ende of the CS protection in picture #4

oh, you mean that part? would be sneaky😅 but still can‘t see an exit from the front triangle, the e-bikes have one looking similar to the sb160.

Yes that's the part I was thinking of ... seems like the only plausible reason for the cut out there.
But you're right, the exit port on the right side of the front triangle is missing ... at least it´s not at the same place as the one for the brake hose on the left, that would not make a lot of sense.
Despite riding for 25+ years, working in shops, and owning countless bikes, I've never gone too far down the rabbit hole of suspension design and kinematics. That being said, would it be safe to assume the new Sixfinity bikes from Yeti would have a similar suspension feel to the Specialized Enduro? I rode an Enduro a few years ago, and despite being 170mm of travel, it climbed great for what it was and seemed to excel in a lot of varied terrain. I took that bike on a few big mountain rides of 25+ miles in Vermont, Pisgah, and Sedona, and had a blast. Unfortunately, it was just too much bike for my local trails, and I ended up only riding it a handful of times a year. If Yeti releases an MT version along with the LT version in the photos, similar to what they did with the E-bikes, something around 130- 150 mm, could I expect similar ride characteristics to the Enduro?

As questioned above. Can it be set up for cable actuated shifting without lots of ugly zip-ties?

I know they had a pretty good warranty program for the Switch Infinite sliders - what's their policy for all the bearings in the 6finity links?
Can you convert between the MT & LT? Any off-menu/Lunch Ride builds possible for them (specifically the MT)? 150/160 is my sweet spot, which is between the MT & LT.
Mullet options?
What's max seat post insertion depth for each size?

There is already pictures of this bike with a coil.
True, but team riders aren't always on "stock" bikes. If the geometry ticks most of the boxes and they offer this bike in a 130 or 140 mm rear travel that is coil-compatible, one of my kids might not be going to college.

Just accidentally drop geo numbers for a starter 🤷🏻♂️
Because all the reviews of the Yeti 6-bar ebikes talked about how great the suspension system worked. This is the first time that you'll be able to get it without a motor.

100% no, the specialized enduro feels like a worn out couch, super plush and dh feeling, the sixfinity has more support and energy return to it, and to me feels way better than the switch bikes which I tried all.
That being said, that was on the MTe-LTe and 160e
But I think it would be a similar feel to the MTE with more travel, so, I’d say a better suspension overall compared to the specialized enduro, more efficient for sure and still nice off the top

The Mid travel is one coming very soon don't you worry! Right soon after this one
Had to say it.
That’s an attractive mountain bicycle.
Downtube looking chooonky
I know it’s going to ride great like the e-bikes tho

If you had asked me a couple of weeks ago, "What are the chances you buy a Yeti in the next 6 months?" I would have said 0%. Today, 80%.
Looks awesome!
carbon commencal meta ; ), after the carbon commencal supreme ; )
Sixfinity is the number of zeros in the price tag right?

For sure an MT and LT. Not sure if there will be a short travel option.

why such hype around that bike?
you don't get it, it's a freakin yeti!! 😉 plus it's finally a new highend trail/enduro bike from a major bike brand without a motor 😛
