It's weird that beautiful women spend their hard earned money on being gorgeous hillside to spectate proudly & videographers just leave them out of the footage these days.  I can't imagine spend time, money & fashionable get ups to go out to be appreciated and all these dudes with cameras...just filming men in spandex onesies all day. Laughing

The racers can dress up in skin suits and take pics from behind, but the videographers are afraid to even cut to a beautiful woman track side enjoying the show for fear of shaming.  Every edit is racers and the crowd shots are the bros.

We're not little children in here, so I'm not dancing around the subject.  Pretty women can't be in your edit anymore so that you don't catch smoke from the haters.

U may b scraping the wire a lil too much bud. Lay off it a bit eh

Man I was ready for some VDS race talk and instead I'm greeted with Vital's most notorious gangster starting a conspiracy theory where he's really super bummed that DH MTBing isn't like Supercross where we have Monster girls in every shot at all times lol

So super duper weird when a race video is about racing and a male dominated sport has videos full of a 'buncha dudes' ugh so lame where are the eye candy bimbos to make the vid better... -_-

Jesus the cursed Norco team. Feel so bad, especially after watching Greg's documentary. Straight up just sucks. What can you even do or say.

Also yeah that's weird Trisq. Luke's account seems fine. Giant's account is fine. TMK he is there and practicing. Not sure. Hope he didn't get hacked or something.

The Minaar doco was quite good, he was rather scathing of the team for the Fort Bill worlds disaster, really threw them under the bus.

Would have been good to get some insight from some of his competitors, I know Hill isn't a fan of him at all but they battled it out for best part of a decade, hear from Nathan Rennie too.

The fit with Norco is great for him, I hate the pun, but that team is "like F1" quantifying data and setups, which seems in the big fella's wheelhouse. I wish him all the best.

Good to see a more varied track compared to the previous 3. Much more slow speed tech. This round's track and condition are going to throw my fantasy picks way off but I'm too lazy to make changes now.

Plenty of sharper turns definitely gives an opportunity for times to separate more than 1/100th of a second.

bitta irony. jackson and jordan just cant get away from each others storylines after the epic juniors battles they had.

this track is just an injury machine. can't even hate it tho. if you wanna prove you're the most technically talented bicycle rider in the world this is it man. this is the one.

Anybody know where a guy could find the World Cup standings after VDS? Curious where Amaury is at now that he took a win. He's already been on the podium a couple times I think, so I wonder if he's actually in touch for the overall. I'm sure Loic is still way in the lead with two wins, a second, and a fifth.

Every year there is at least one rider that I really want to get a Win.  Last year it was BK who I am still hoping he gets one but this year I am rooting hard for Dak to get that #1.  This might make a good poll and then we could know if we can collectively WILL riders onto the top step!

Who is it that you want to win??

Would have loved a Jess win, and not just because it would have been a heater for my fantasy. Sadly it sounds like seasons done. Not sure extent of injury.

Maples hit that extra gear which would of course be a great result. And gotta give credit to what Lachy is doing. Not sure what happened to his VDS? Just off the pace or mechanical/crash?

Also here for Dak, can't wait until he puts it all together for the win!

As a refresher of how far he's come, here's baby Dak from 2018

i think she said 4 weeks. that still gives over a month of rehab before worlds and the last 2 rounds.

Part of me gets concerned about the quick returns, or general stubbornness of riders but it's just the way of the racer. Minnaar's shoulder. I mean given the nature of what they do it seems like half the field has a nagging injury of some kind through the season. And on the topic of injuries Jess' career has been WILD. Was not familiar with her name until that Snowshoe. And it's just been a rollercoaster for the lass since. Talk about being built different. It's like she takes it as a challenge each time. To go even harder.

And of course such a shame no Jax this season. Hoping for so many good ones to come but this would have been an epic year to watch him battle with the rise of Ronan.

After this weekend, I don't want to hear anyone talk about making tracks faster and higher average speed to get the times closer together. Especially with the conditions, it was a gnarly and difficult track where the best were able to prove their mettle and stand out from the rest. If you want to build the sport up you need to build the stars of the sport and you can't do that if the top 10 riders are separated by 3.8 seconds like Lenzerheide last year. The runs Pierron & the rest of the podium guys were on another level at VDS.

Maybe I missed it but does anyone know why Connor Fearon has been absent from UCI DH races since Fort Williams?

I think a mechanical in semi-finals - bent rear rotor. Did a pretty speedy run considering, only just missing the cut (32nd in semis).

Forbidden probably doesn't have the budget to send 2 guys around the world to not make finals
