14 junior women is awesome. If I am not wrong there were just 3 or 4 riders last year they raced there (might need to look it up to be sure). It looks like the level of women racing in general is getting higher quickly, also with the contribution of younger riders!

Any fearless forecasts?

I have a strong feeling Gwin is gonna win this one with Pompon winning women elite. Jackson Goldstone and Izabela Yankova should win juniors.

Of course, I expect a Sender and a Supreme will each be in the top 10 on both women and men elite. Tongue

I expect a big battle between the us and the frenchies. Think gwin, Luca, and Dak will all be on it after quality program changes but there are maybe a half dozen frenchies I’d say could win and are likely to be in top 10.

Loic is my top choice. Reece if the weather goes sideways. Probably the only guy on the hill who may be excited to try to send it and have the skills to pull it off.

I don't think Reece is reliant on the weather as some make out. He won 1st round at Snowshoe and was green in the 2nd round when he lost his chain, IIRC both races were dry.

As others have said, great work done by the Vital team, showing the other site how it should be done. I can't wait for some Raw action.

from lawlor trackside - "Huge delays with the uplift. Riders are literally waiting 2 hours to get onto it. Most riders have only had 2 runs and we're 5 hours into their practice session. Most are getting up to speed quick though. Usual suspects."

timed training runs pushed back until 6pm local is what i heard.
