Seems teams are leaving dh to pursue enduro with their funds.

Not sure if big bike parks are good way to measure how top DH bikes sells, but hardly remember seeing any Lapierre this year in whole Morzine / Chatel area... so simple to image they invest money somewhere else (enduro).

Loic is travelling to San Diego for an Internship with 100%, some of his other sponsors are based there too. The bike brand is based in Northern California, so I guess that will be on his agenda too.

Precisely.

Loic is 100% not going to Norco and will be joining a brand/team based in Northern California

Last year, Loic re-signed for 2 years with Pure Agency (aka Gravity Republic). Also, Minnaar clearly said there wouldn't be any changes to the SCS.
So it's not "Bruni to *insert bike brand*", but rather "*insert bike brand* Gravity Republic". The whole structure stays the same (with the exception of mechanic Jack, who may or may not be leaving), they just change bikes.
DAMNIT PEOPLE WE'VE BEEN OVER THIS.

Just because Greg says that does not mean it won't happen. Greg would have said that Peaty was not retiring too had they asked him at the same time!

Loic on Intense with Palmer running the team.
Will just leave this here.
This would probably be enough to put Intense back to the top, place they have been missing since Kovarik times?!? Would be really awesome to see this happen!

Norco Factory Racings IG feed saying breaking news coming next week and still tagging blenki, which suggests he's staying with them and not joining back up with Loic.

Matt Walker is following Norco Factory Racing on Instagram. Not sure if that's new or not but he would certainly be a realistic addition.

Breaking news is not about Loic, Blenki will be racing a mix of EWS and DH.

Well if that map has any meaning, Propain is not where Gwin is going. Propain is situated just north of Lake Konstanz, which is on the French border, not in the eastern part of south Germany.

Here's a thought...

Peaty has this issue with not having enough points and the Syndicate not being a trade team.

There's also the rumor of Bruni or else some young American coming to the team.

What if Peaty just kinda bowed out of the Syndicate proper and wore the national jersey? He could just show up as a representative of his Great Nation of Great Britain. And then proceed to hang out all week with the rest of the team. Then the Syndicate could grab some new talent as well as keep The King for his last, hopefully glorious or at least a good party of a season.

What you think?

Saw Anneke riding a GT on Thursday, guess that confirms it.

I think we can now rule out Bruni to another team, as the whole team is making the move.

I dont think h's running a different frame.

He will just have to go to to few early c1/c2 races in Southern Europe and win them all, walk in the park for him, nothing to worry about...

It's a nice idea but it's not cheap or easy to simply add another top level rider to a team. Salary, travel costs, mechanic, logistics, pit space, etc.

I guess Peaty will just ride the first world cup in national jersey and pick up enough points there to see him through the rest of the season.

edit - they have relaxed the ruling on jersey designs so I expect Syndicate to become a trade team again for 2016.

My idea is that Peaty wouldn't actually be a part of the official team. If he's ready to retire, one can assume that he doesn't need any more money. He could sever his Syndicate contract, hang out and race with the team under the National colors and make the financial room for a new, young rider. He brought up Ratty. He's a philanthropist. And a team player.
