Emily rides for Trek Factory Racing, NOT Trek World Racing.
Trek World Racing was a private racing program owned by Martin Whiteley, with Trek as the headline sponsor. Trek Factory Racing is Trek's own racing program. TWR stopping its activity will not affect Emily (nor will it affect Justin Leov on the enduro side directly either, since he was also racing for Trek Factory Racing alongside now retired Tracy Moseley. I'm not saying that we know for sure if Justin is still onboard for 2016 but if he isn't, it has nothing to do with Trek World Racing since he didn't ride for them since going full enduro).

Heikki Sorsa and Bene Mayr are in on the action in Pittsburgh as well. Hence the aforementioned snow. Also, it looks like Mattias Ekström will be taking his RS5 out on the street:
Not quite as interesting as a Gwin/Audi collab, but I have a feeling that Rémy Métailler may start racing world cups full time: for starters, he hasn't gone back to Mexico, where he worked the last couple winters. He also spent a few days at the Commencal HQ, which could be to discuss his (racing?) plans. Also, the insta-sphere suggests he has been training with Bruni, Vergier and Cauvin. It may only have been a one time thing to catch up with his friends, but for the sake of this forum, let's imagine he's been waking up at 5 everyday, doing high intensity intervals, deadlifts and squats all day. Oh and yoga.
I'd really like to see him on the world cup circuit, I think he could do some damage with a bit more racing experience.
"Another Balinese wheelie Wednesday coming at you!! Thanks @thechillhouse for the loaner bike and thanks to....."
"Loaner Bike"
My bad, I did read that but my brain didn't digest it. Was too excited at the prospect of Wyn riding for Specialized! I'll go back to being a spectator...
This seems to point to Rude staying with Yeti. Let's hope he gets to ride more DH next year too!

that would mean they're coming out with a dh bike. i can't see racing an sb6c at the wc level
well richie's insta says "DH this off-season." doesn't mention world cup. if anything the EWS tracks get pretty freaking gnar, so riding the sb6 with a dual crown gets him warmed up for EWS.
Another interesting Instagram find....

This is huge news to me personally. Perhaps overshadowing all of this other Rumour silliness. As both an MTB and rally enthusiast, I've been hoping for this to happen for many a year. The man has skills in general. If he's this good at playing with mountain bikes, imagine what he could get up to with Subaru/Red Bull backing in World Rally. This is big news. Is there a VitalRally that I can check out? Given his background, perhaps some car jumping records might be beaten? I hope that Red Bull might feature him in their New Years events this year as an introduction. I can't wait for the future...

For now.... He never seems to tag Specialized much, I had to look back quite a way to find a post where he directly mentions them!! So I don't know if we can read too much into that?
I was wondering the same thing, what does this mean for the team? Heard rumor about Peaty stepping down to allow a young American to step up.
If only Windham were on the schedule this year, I could see Peaty ride one last time in person

Ye, but he is no longer tagging Spec in his posts. Only time will tell ..
I really wouldn't read too much into that.. I had a look back through and he only every seems to tag spesh or any other sponsors when they are obviously in the photo.
Last one with a specialized mention was only a couple weeks back.
Oh another note I really look forward to whatever Steve Peat is up to next!

May I be the first person ever to say: "Looks like a Demo."

He's a legend of the sport, lets see if he can pull a win for his last season!
