These thank you and goodbye posts sure do seem contractual.

I feel badly for riders who just want to ride and race but who have to keep up social media views and follows as well.

Then again, it opens up new ways of making money outside of competing.

Team Nukeproof is including one (1) pair of Rakes w/ each Dissent Comp DH. This SRAM Rake Co. are setting up a suit, Echo Chainsaw and Echo BMX Helmet in the 1980's did it, but there was not an idiot politician running a country, insisting the citizenry drop trees and prevent forest fires.

Maybe, a typo somewhere, before printing??

It's part of the job these days. I'm sure accountants hate closing the end of the year books but it is part of the job. As they say, "pay to play."

If you want to be a supported rider you need to play by the rules.

FOX snagging 336,000 sq feet of space in georgia for $36.5 million to expand manufacturing. from their 8k filing. thanks to brines for the scoop.

---------------------
Section 1 Registrant's Business and Operations
Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
As previously reported on a Form 8-K filed on October 31, 2018 by Fox Factory Holding Corp. (the “Company”), the Company plans to expand its manufacturing and operations capacity in Hall County, Georgia. In furtherance of the foregoing, on July 24, 2019, the Company, through its subsidiary, Fox Factory, Inc. (the “Owner”), entered into a Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Design-Builder (the “Original Agreement”) with Carroll Daniel Construction Company (the “Design-Builder”) and on December 23, 2019, the Owner and the Design-Builder entered into Amendment No. 1 to the Original Agreement (the “Amendment” and together with the Original Agreement, the “Design-Build Agreement”). Pursuant to the Design-Build Agreement, the Design-Builder will provide design and construction services related to an approximately 336,000 square foot facility located in Gainesville, Georgia.
The Company plans to use the facility for the manufacture of its products including vehicle shock absorbers. The Design-Build Agreement contains several design and construction milestone dates that began in June 2019. The Amendment includes a schedule that sets forth interim milestones, durations and material dates in relations to the performance and timing of the Design-Builder’s work. The Design-Build Agreement is subject to customary undertakings, covenants, obligations, rights, remedies and conditions.
Pursuant to and in accordance with the terms of the Design-Build Agreement and the Amendment, the Owner shall pay the stipulated sum of approximately $36.5 million for the Design-Builder’s performance of the Design-Build Agreement. Any additional costs will be addressed as they arise until the completion of the facility, which is currently expected to occur on or around August 31, 2020.
The foregoing description of the material terms of the Design-Build Agreement does not purport to be complete and is qualified in its entirety by reference to the full text of the Design-Build Agreement, which is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 10.1 and Exhibit 10.2 and incorporated herein by reference.

Oh, come on. We're taking about something that's not a function of the core job duties, and pretty far afield at that. Closing the books is what accountants live for and work all year toward.

I'm particularly concerned about women who may feel pressure to post particular types of content. That seems unnecessary.

Sorry @ryan_dougherty, he announced it yesterday. I can see him going so a Canadian brand or even Transition, basically Canadian in the grand scheme of things.

Among others, yeah. Now these female athletes need to be models and riders, it seems?

I don't think it's just a cycling problem, of course. I mean, the cheesecake magazine spreads at least didn't put daily pressure on these athletes to organize photo shoots.

Just an outsider's perspective, of course. In a sport where eating disorders aren't uncommon (thinking XC, male and female), I'm not sure the social media piece is entirely healthy.

That could be Henry's, and the Canyon in the van is Mark's as you can tell by the paint job.

There is also a Kona in the back of the truck, no idea who's that is.

Yeti must be clearing cap space. Some of their ambassadors are leaving. Anne Galyean said she is leaving, Dee Tidwell says former trainer of the Yeti squad. Hoping that Grubby comes back for a year or two.

Enve is no longer a sponsor of the Orbea team

Ibis has cut Lew, Evan G and Julie Duvert this week.

Next week should be LIT!

One up bars, you can just about make out the logo. The stem is definitely a Burgtec though.

Dee runs the Enduro MTB training website and was the trainer for the rest of the team. Dee is a great guy, super fast racer in his own right. Richie is part of the group PerformX Training out of Canada. I think that’s where the Intense rumors are coming from. They also train Aaron Gwin and have camps in SoCal.

You can see that the Norco is in his van when he arrives. I believe the Kona is Finn's filmer.

If you want to not only be supported but especially earn a living as an athlete, then you've got to play along. Bikes are a business just like anything else. In the end, for the people in suits that pull levers and push buttons it's all about dollars.

I don't understand feeling bad for them. No one is forcing them to ride bikes for a living. There are thousands of people out there that just ride, race and have regular jobs.
