I know for a fact Gwin is going to Intense, but as for Neko Im not so sure. Why would Neko be doing all that 27.5/29er testing so late in the season on his prototype YT if he was riding for another brand in 2019? Just for the fuck of it? Maybe, I know Neko loves to tinker and get his hands dirty and think outside the box but maybe hes staying on YT and being the Top Dog this year. Time will tell!

YT site only states Angel as a reference rider for the TUES, so i´m pretty sure it´s a) a recent product description because there´s no mention of AG and b) Neko is most likely also off YT because otherwise they wouldn´t use their rookie´s name to promote the bike.
It´s not too far fetch really for a pro rider to experiment with equipment despite changing sponsors as some of the science will be applicable reagrdless.
So my guess is Neko is off YT too.

Im sure YT will still have good visibility in the WC scene with both Angel Suarez and Vali Holl.

Their already have a good brand reputation thanks to Gwin, good marketing, good products, etc..

Yea, my earlier point is that Neko is off YT (published fact), but everyone shouldn't just automatically assume he is a package deal with Gwin. He's not necessarily following him to Intense (or where ever).

Have a read of this in relation to the 27.5/29 hybrid, its neko's mechanic in the article and they have been messing around with it for a while. Im sure he's just using whatever he has lying around in the shed to fuck around with.

i‘m guessing todd shumlick of performX could be their new teammanager. he was the manager of the norco team the prior years and is also the personal trainer of gwin and other pros. additionally i sawe him comment and like the last couple of intense factory racing posts.
