Ibought this as an outdated model, new. Loved the ability to run 29 or 27.5+ wheels so i bought both in carbon. Prefered it with the 27.5+ Changed all the typical stuff, bars, crankset, to carbon, played with stem lengths. When the single track hit, this thing was FAST. But I started to notice having troubles keeping the front planted through turns, keeping the front down on climbs and serious twitchiness at speed. This is likely due to the steep HT angle and slack ST angle. Too much weight

Slackish seat tube angle
Mid-range drive train, not real bad but GX 10-52.

Overall Review

Areally good, responsive and fast for 170mm mountain goat. Went just a little higher on air in suspension which made a very supportive pedal platform. Admittedly over biked for most of my riding, however sure plows through rooty sections and confidence inspiring on downhills. I am relieved to find that the rather long wheelbase doesn't feel too slow through turns, but rather provides stability through technical climbs. Wish the seat post was another 1-2 degrees steeper and cockpit 20mm longer. narrow BB

Overall Review

Very capable. Built in 27.5+ configuration. 160mm suspension fork. Carbon wheels with I9 1/1 hubs and Rocket Ron 2.8 tires. weighs 27.5 with pedals Very nice handling, quick and fast. Love the long seat tube for dropper. Able to utilize a 210mm Oneup dropper to get really low when necesary.

have had multiple sets of these brakes 1 out of 10 might be a good set. number of problems with bleeding properly and almost all of them have had lever sticking issues . i had even swapped out lever pistons that was supposed to fix the issues with the lever but still had issues . you would be better off buying a different brake set at that price or a little more than these cause the long term issues will not be worth the money saved

Maxxis Grifter Tire

The Good

Absolutely Nothing

I only got one ride out of them and the rubber tread tore open allowing the tube to balloon out through the hole and pop. The rubber split at the tread and just left a big split in the tire even though they are BRAND new. I am disgusted at the quality of this product and will never be buying from maxxis again.

Don't ever buy these guys trust me save yourself the heart ache and find a quality and reputable tire manafacturer

POC Resistance Pro DH Gloves

The Good

no more twisted strap, like on 2015 Index DH glove
more air flow than the DH index glove provided by the holes in the palm
I stay cool even in 25 deg. Celsius
comfortable
true to size, I have 21cm knuckle size, and the medium fits me perfectly. I went from Index DH gloves in large which was a bit too bit too big, to this glove.
Durable ceramic-coated SuperFabric® with abrasion-resistant properties, this actually works.
Great fit.
Has impact protection at the knuckles.

The Bad

the impact protection is silly thin, they won’t help on a proper impact, I tested it with hitting my hand harder and harder on a stem.
Because of the holes on the palm, the durability suffers when you get something (pedal pins for example) stuck in the holes you can tear the fabric, but this is also caused by the fabric's weakness. but if you do it can easily be fixed if you got some sewing skills.
the triple dots on the fingers wear off fast because they are glued on. the glue holding the Velcro to the rubber strap failed of some pairs of gloves, but you can easily fix this with a sewing kit. Sadly I got an inconsistent quality of the stitching on these gloves with the gloves I got.
after many months of use, the glove stretched and had to be sewn in the palm to fit me properly.

Overall Review

But if you want longer lasting palm to get the Index DH glove instead, but it will of course not be as cool as the Resistance glove, but the durability of the palm must be improved. I still use my Index DH gloves in size L, for colder days,I wear them over fleece gloves in size M, which works well. I want to look intoother gloves, like Mechanix for example, they got full finger padding and knuckle padding. but that might be overkill. Original review

Everything this was so uncomfy, the quality was poor, it got very hot, felt itchy for some reason I think it was the liner. Rode in it twice and sold it bought a Bell

Idon't even want to write a full review it was so bad and not worth my time reviewing. There are so many helmets that are better than this, stay away. They also get employees and sponsored riders to review their products.
