Rode Deity Supracush for the last 3 seasons, never wanted to go back to anything else. Bought the Megattacks and didn't like them so much a first on the Slayer, so I took them off until I needed some grips on a temporary e-bike I rode. Going back to the Supracush, I felt them... slim. I like them both, not sure which one more. I recently also put a pair of ODI Rogues on the e-bike and I like them quite a bit. Mx

Simple dark horse thick grip option that I've fallen in love with this year is just cutting the core out of any old lock on grip, then sliding your favorite push on BMX grip over it. Ends up around meaty paw thickness but softer, longer lasting, cheaper to replace, and maybe more street cred?

Don't put your start / finish under trees? Do you actually mountain bike? Tell me you don't live in the BC without telling me you don't live in BC. Scratch the Sea to Sky and Vancouver Island off your potential user list if a course can't start or finish under trees.

To have it make sense at the WC level there would need to be more races. However I do like the idea and have thought of it often myself. The reason I like it is that it would encourage athletes to take better care of themselves particularly with head injuries. There is a groundswell towards this but let's face it, if you sit out a round you will be out of the overall. Our midweek enduro series does this as well and it's great for amateur athletes who have other stuff going in their lives.

Looks like you are the one who doesnt understand the point system - points are awarded in Qualy and Semi. Luca actually ended the weekend up on Finn by a margin of 20 points - those will matter at the end of the year for the overall. The protected rules are what they are, but my question to you is if what Finn did is such a huge advantage than how come no one else does this all the time?

You're right - look for all protected riders to start giving up points by just rolling through the gate in both qualis and semis starting next week in Val Di Sole. Why did no one think of this before? Have you considered offering your consulting services to teams on how to game the system?

6/7/2024 4:00pm New Rock Shox Vivid Coil dropping in 2 weeks. Looks pretty much the same as the current SD but it has the same internals as the Vivid Air including touchdown technology

4/8/2024 2:39pm Not a rumour but I spotted this outside the Marks Work Warehouse in Squamish last week. I haven’t been following closely but I’m assuming this is the team kit with trp and crankbrothers. Also had an unlabelled Maxxis tire on the front that I had not seen before (might be old news though).
