For longer levers you could try BL-MT410. At Sea Otter, Evan of Contra displayed his bike at my booth and we had a little Shigura convention, we had 3 variants. All used Magura 4-pot calipers. Ring used non-servowave XTR BL-M9100; Datum used Servowave XTR BL-M9120; Contra used long-levered non-Servowave BL-MT410. We both said that our primary motivations were ergonomics/reliability. I like the reliabilty of the Magura calipers (I'd prefer if the pads retracted futher), and I like that the Shimano levers have the hose pointing in the correct direction and have good shifter integration (I've never gotten along with the...

Welp... Maybe this thread might gain some traction now? It did look like a 50/50 case but... I just feel that bike snapped too easily on Bernard. At the end of the day landing like that may as well be a 50/50 gamble but that thing folded up instantly. It didn't even look like it fully went through a compression before it happened. Like the fork wasn't bottomed out. The second that front wheel touched down the frame was ready to give out. I dunno. NOT a good look imo

Maybe calling people clowns isn't a great way to get people to engage in a productive discourse on any particular issue. Also, relivent: https://xkcd.com/1357/ As far as Pinkbike, I think they'll be fine for a long while. Their operation isn't too capital expensive (it's basically hosting cost and an office in Squamish) and they can always shed payroll before taking servers down. We'll probably see more "sponsored" reviews in the future, as that's just becoming more of a thing across all review sites for anything.
