I used that logic for way too long before I finally bought some Dominions and realised I was being really stupid. Never going back to Shimano or Sram brakes. The only downside I've found is holding back the vomit whenever i have to use someone elses brakes.

The plan with the Ruffy was never a fully mittered frame. Phil only wanted to send the tubes and they have to be mittered by someone as this is basically the most work to fit everything. The welding is the easy part. I was/am pretty involved in the project and did my frame as a framebuilding course at his workshop last summer. Was an awesome experience and I love the bike.

This is what "tech rumours and innovation" is about, So much more of this! I'm a huge fanboy of the @CascadeComponents stuff, its functional bike jewellery, and I'm here for it! This looks very much like a whole rear end to make a Stumpy a high pivot trail bike, and thats incredible

Its shit like Canfield getting upset that treks proto DH bike has bars of metal with a spring along with an idler mounted somewhere and an adjustable pivot point that makes me roll my eyes. I have countless hairball linkage drawings that look super similar to this that I have just drawn up and looked at how they would perform for fun... I didn't steal his "idea" I arrived at that shit the same way anyone else would... I used my brain. I understand how the industry works I just wish at times the industry could you know "be cooler"...

What a way to kick off the season! So rad to see so many pinned runs, with hardly any run crashes as well. Here are the results and a couple of observations: -22 racers lined up for finals (down from 34 on the full start list, proof that this event is no push-over). -How cool was it to see Sam Hill and Josh Bryceland just cruising such an intimidating course like it wasn't a big deal? Instead of the Classified system, we need to ressurect the Hammerschmidt. Refine that system, get it lighter, 2x instead of 1.6x overdrive, and now you can run a DH rear cassette-shifter on your enduro bike.
