Agreed, I think its cool the Jrs and Elites are on the same day, but the tracks in the am can be horrible for practice and race with the dew and and can suck at times for the jrs.
This is also true. Lourdes in 2022 was apparently horrible for the junior practice with very little praccy time courtesy of the slowed down uplift and queuegate, and with the sun on the wrong side of the hill the dewy conditions made it super treacherous. But isn't that what WBD are trying to do, make it as s**t as possible...
While better for the Elites for sure & focuses on a "finals" day, which is a totally good outcome. This means the Jnrs get back to the ultra early morning starts, wet dewy morning conditions. A shitty schedule and timeline for them trying to make it in the sport. There is no best outcome here, but will be interesting to see how it is delivered. It may be totally good. We don't know till we try.
Agreed. WBD still need to do one with the semi final bulls**t, but it's definitely an improvement none the less. Now if they could confirm we'll have commentators who don't talk bollocks and bore us to death that would be great...
Dude, I just realised that you are one of the Parkin brothers and I just want to say DirtTV was the best shit ever and thank you for all the good stuff throughout the years. I tip my hat to you guys! Parkin Bros. Gold forever! Mx
Jeez, it's not everyday that something you shot more than 15 years ago gets referenced in a forum thread! The small crash he had on the second shot was literally the second shot we shot that day, and was actually pretty harsh, and almost caused the whole shoot to be cancelled.
MS Intense. The massive bus is owned by MS Racing, and has been part of their set up for years, on their previous iterations (MS Intense / MS Evil / MS Mondraker). The bus features in the opening segment of 3Focus with Matti Lehikoinen (skip to 3:36)... https://youtu.be/S8EDOGiVk0Q?feature=shared
