32x19T (or 34x21 or 30x17) gives proper tension and it's a pretty reasonable gear for me. A "Magic Gear" is the gear ratio that works on a regular bike without the ability to adjust tension. Sometimes it's a little tight or a little loose, but this one worked out to be spot-on.
