2/28/2024 12:27pm The bigger issue is they are straight up owned by fox. And all of the brands are tied together. So if your sponsored by RF your also on Fox stuff as well.

2/28/2024 11:41am yes, this, thank you. i think helmet-mounted gopros could be detrimental in the right kind of direct impact too. odds are possibly pretty low but afaik helmet companies go to great lengths when designing the shapes of their helmets to be deflective. adding things that stick out and create a single point of pressure doesn't seem ideal.

2/27/2024 10:54pm The gopro thing is a big deal because people thought it would stop the rotation of your head when you are sliding on the ground and cause a neck injury. What I assume Spomer is referring to is when you get ejected and the first thing that hits the ground is that knob. Kinda like if your wearing a baseball...

2/27/2024 2:34pm "what's that big old knob on the back at 56 second mark?" Volume control As much as I hate BOA systems, having something that cinches more of the entire helmet to your head rather then just tightening the back would be nice.

2/25/2024 6:27am Sorry, *the switch to the smaller 200mm rotors helped the power roll on instead of hit all at once. I accidentally wrote 220. Making the switch helped a ton with being able to use varying levels of lever input. With the 220 up front, the slightest touch seemed to nearly lock up the wheel. I normally run Code Ultimates and will likely switch back for what I feel like is a more usable range of power for a trail bike. These brakes will be going on my Enduro and Downhill bikes where I feel like the power is more applicable...

2/25/2024 6:27am like Bizutch said, 3d print that shit. I got a couple of fun brake bleeding accessories from a guy in Bellingham that 3D prints all kinds of cool stuff. My favorite one is roughly the size of a shimano bleed block with a notch cut out of it for one of the pistons. It lets you advance out a single piston to clean it at a time. Great for getting stuck or stubborn pistons working again.

2/22/2024 5:27pm That’s interesting. Modulation was one of the reasons I went with codes for a long time. So with smaller rotors do they still feel on/off or more like a code? Also what brakes do you normally run and would you trade them in for these?

2/22/2024 1:01pm Are these the replacement for the code or just code adjacent? As a big feller as well, Ill keep my 220 rotors. The less I have to squeeze my breaks the better my hands and arms feel at the bottom.

2/21/2024 10:44am I can't get over how quickly it went from everyone trying to figure out each feature and the track appearing as this crazy, nearly unrideable thing to everyone just figuring it out and doing full runs. You can literally see the bar get raised in just a few days. Highlight for sure has been all the women ticking off features. This will stand as a massive leap forward for the women's freeride scene and goes to show the level that their riding is at; they just need the chance to get their foot in the door.

2/20/2024 5:04pm Finally, I found where that Trinidad trail is! :p this makes more sense. I thought it attacked on the SVT, which would be super bold. This is like within a mile of where the last attack happened? also popping onto Trailforks it says tokul is closed till further notice?

2/20/2024 8:15am That is pretty standard practice to kill animals that attack people. They have lost all fear of humans and it will happen again if they are just tranq'd and moved somewhere else. It sucks. Logging and the ever steady expansion of the seattle area has pushed a ton of animals out of their territory. But yeah I have no clue...
