Why not just leave your bike upside down for a few minutes, allowing oil to seep down to those foam rings? Why the need to slide the lowers (almost) off?

I fully agree with this. However, it’s not too much of a bother for me. However, my wife (with smaller hands and shorter fingers) finds the OneUp lever hard to operate.

Great question. Between the Faast Flexx, Spank Vibrocore, and OneUp bars, the XC Gear stem, and RevGrips, there are all of sudden several ways of addressing similar things in the MTB space. It might be time for another Vital MTB Face Off to really feel out the differences...
