NoahColorado Liked a comment about Feature Solving Problems: e*thirteen's Approach to Better MTB Components
5/5/2016 3:05pm "With riders like Aaron Gwin, Sam Hill, Josh Bryceland....you know each product is thoroughly tested before it hits the shelves." Two of the first three are actually on MRP chainguides.

Do this more often! This is the kind of info we need when shopping for new bikes, not highly subjective reviews that say the same thing about every bike!

I really like how he showed the highlights instead of a 30 minute long POV video.

skelldify Added a comment about feature What a Difference 5 Years Makes in MTB
5/5/2015 4:21pm The answer is "Not as much as the bike industry wants you to think it has." Every time I see something silly, like fat tires, or electronic shifting touted as the next big thing, I'm happy because I could care less about that crap. The industry is clutching at straws trying to come up with new crap. Once there's a crazy new frame material, or some huge leap in suspension design, then I might feel like my 3 year old bike is outdated. I don't see that happening any time soon.

Yeah, uh, a picnic table drop wouldn't even bottom out my trail bike. If he bottomed out his DH bike off a picnic table, he'd had serious problems in WC races.

What's the size range? I usually wear US 14, usually have to squeeze into a 13. But, even 13 can be hard to find for bike shoes.

2/18/2015 3:14pm I think Shimano is confused. We didn't get rid of the front derailler because we only wanted one shifter. We got rid of the front derailler because they add needless complication!

Bike review sites should take this as a sign that they are NOT telling people who are shopping for a new bike what they need to know!

1/13/2015 9:15am Intense Carbine w/CCDBA and Pike. I put the Pike into Trail mode on very smooth climbs, which are pretty rare for me. I'd rather ride up techy stuff where the suspension helps. After demo-ing some Treks equipped with CTD, I purposely bought a bike that wouldn't require me to be flipping those switches all the time. It doesn't pedal like...

Review by Jeff Brines // Photos by Patrick Nelson and Brandon Turman I dig any machine that is really good at what it was designed to do. Perhaps my most favorite purpose built machine is the Group B class of rally cars. As opposed to most rally cars, these cars were not tuned-up sedans but purpose-built from the ground up and their performance is still talked about some 29 years after their demise. When GT introduced the Sanction Pro I drew a parallel to Group B. Many bikes raced in the EWS are long legged trail bikes that are tuned...
