Does the world champs ever not deliver? that was so insane....and the fans!! good lord, unreal. Bravo UCI for putting on one of the most epic races ever and the athletes for showcasing their gifts.

WOW! Loic is the latest rider to master the art of putting together runs at Worlds! Looks like he and Loris sitting out of MSA paid off. Also so stoked to see Vali carry the momentum she's been building this season and take the rainbow stripes. But, it's hard to look past Cami's 4th place just a few weeks post-surgery - mental. And Jenna Hastings - first win, and it's at Worlds! What a race, and what a year it has been of amazing racing. Damn, downhill racing is the best!

For those struggling with the VPN. Easiest way to do it is on your phone or tablet. Download a VPN app you haven’t used before (if you want the 1-2week free trial, and you get completely free viewing). If you have an AppleTV and an apple product you can airplay. Google peeps can usually connect to a smart tv depending how your house is setup. Go to the VPN and select a non restricted country. Now the crucial part for RedbullTV. Go to the location setting, this is easiest on their website as it usually prompts your location, and select...

is anyone else still terrified just by watching the off-camber at the end of the track? so insane how fast they're going. hopefully wetness doesn't impact it

Not much of a rumor, but sometimes facts are a nice change of information-supply: Contra Bikes website just went live: https://contrabikes.com/

If NORBA could host the 2006 DH National Championships on a 2 minute course with 400 feet of vert above an asphalt race track in Sonoma, CA....anything is possible.

I was rooting for Bernard or Finn, but in the end, it was perfect that Finn got his first WC win in front of a home crowd. I was definitely getting a little teary-eyed watching it. (my susceptibility to crying has increased 1000% since having kids) Did anyone notice the exchange between Rob and Eliot at the end of the broadcast? It was likely their last one together and they both seemed genuinely bummed. It really sucks that the team of Redbull, Rob, and Eliot will be ending, I feel like the broadcasts the last 2 seasons have been top-notch.

just got confirmation, Loic is on course this morning for practice before qualifying in MSA. stoked!

Danny Hart is skipping MSA to be with his newborn daughter, who had to go into surgery. I hope she makes a full recovery soon. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Danny Hart (@dannyhart1)

I remember a conversation I had ~10 years ago with Martin Whitely about putting LEDs inside goggles to indicate splits. This was during the TFR days when they were definitely thinking outside the box a bit – doing things like warming their bikes up before runs to get the fluids to the right viscosity and messing around with aerodynamics. I'm surprised there hasn't been more emphasis on the latter in DH. Kerr might've been on the top box on Saturday if only his cables had been run through the headset, for instance.
