Yes I tried an Enduro EN929 rim in front once, but broke it on heavy braking and a huge root. It kept enough air so I could get down through the fire road.
Then I always rode the MX935DH front and rear and never had issues. They're a bit stiff but trouble-free with a quality build.

There's no rule to follow, your riding style, the terrain, and your weight will drive most of your setup.
At the date of this comment, no lifts are open yet so I don't have the perfect setup to suit me.

I think Ohlins do different shimming to give different compression tunes for different linkage designs. I’m changing from a GT Fury 29 to a Gambler and want to use the TTX 22 already on the GT. I’ll see what TF Tuned say.

What spring rate are you using and how much do you weigh and does it give you 30% sag?

Like in the description, 84N 480 and I'm 75kg.
Compression range seems good for now with stock tune but I'm quite on the closed side on the rebound, this would be my first tune if I do one.

After enough days in different places and settings barely moving now I can tell what I came up with :

Bodyweight 75kg / typical terrain -> Morgins
Stock tuned DH38 & TTX Coil
*clicks from closed except HSC*

DH38
Pos chamber 100psi
Ramp chamber 220psi
HSC 0 on 4
LSC 1
Rebound 10

TTX Coil
Rate 480
HSC 0 on 3
LSC 5
Rebound 3

The bike is so light that you need to open the HSC to let it dive fast enough over the roots but you end up to the extreme setting and can't open it further to play around.
On the opposite, I felt the LSC on the fork to be not restrictive enough, I'm here on the other extreme again and can't get it more closed.
SAGs are perfect, but I may close the fork HSC 1 more step for steeper tracks like Champery.

I’ve now been riding mine for several weeks too.......including Morgin, but only for a day.
I run boxxers up front (want to get DH38’s soon though), but the same Ohlins shock.
The compression tune didn’t need changing from the GT. I weigh 76kg in normal clothes and run the following settings:
Shock
450lb SAR spring
Lsc 8 from fully closed
Hsc pos 2
Reb 4 from fully closed.
I run the shock in the progressive setting.

The bike is amazing......just want to race it now.

Rimpact inserts actually. Lighter but less durable. I ran the Huck Norris before, they're the lightest so far but last only half a season, almost like icecream under the sun...

Never tried Cushcore yet for the simple reason that they're too heavy to be considered in my opinion. I started with HuckNorris, lightest out there but not the most durable. They last only half a season...
Seeking for lightweight options lasting a bit longer that's when I discovered these Rimpacts.
I haven't ridden the bike yet, I could only give full feedback after this whole summer I guess.
