Riders that need a team Dak - FW is dream, Scott would be good for the $ and support (most likely) - Norco would be good for the $ and support and he is great at bike dev. To Axess Nukeproof could be ok but not really. Dak to Crestline would be cool if he gets $ Yeti would be sick. Also Dak and FR to Intense on their own program. Loving life living out the camper van. Dylan Maples - to FW would be sick - Norco would get a good bump and chance to have a top 10...

Been wresting with this in my head since is was roomer 2 months ago..Dak is now NOT young. needs to get paid.. Bummed as we all are about not FW or Intense. He also is prob. gonna marry Frida who has not had a ride for the last 2 years. I totally get it. Get that $ DAK, And the bike works.

I had a similar problem with Crankbrothers DH rims. Air coming out the spokes, several retapes, only to find it was the way the valve sat in the rim well. The head of the valve was too big, so the rubber seal wasn’t actually sealing on the rim. Fitted a valve with a smaller diameter head and all was good.

Great article Luis. I’m also a long time user of Motion Instruments for my RSR Bikeworks business and a BYB user for my Scott DH team work. Both systems are great, but MI edges it for customer setup days I think. As said by others, the data between the two systems is quite different, so not relatable. Probably to do...

Great info, cheers. I’ve now been riding mine for several weeks too.......including Morgin, but only for a day. I run boxxers up front (want to get DH38’s soon though), but the same Ohlins shock. The compression tune didn’t need changing from the GT. I weigh 76kg in normal clothes and run the following settings: Shock 450lb SAR spring Lsc 8 from fully closed Hsc pos 2 Reb 4 from fully closed. I run the shock in the progressive setting. The bike is amazing......just want to race it now.

What spring rate are you using and how much do you weigh and does it give you 30% sag?

Very nice. What rate spring are you using and how much do you weigh? I'm putting the same shock on a Gambler frame.

I think Ohlins do different shimming to give different compression tunes for different linkage designs. I’m changing from a GT Fury 29 to a Gambler and want to use the TTX 22 already on the GT. I’ll see what TF Tuned say. Enjoy your riding.......at least your bike is light enough to push up!!!
