7/28/2025 11:59am The single review on the site is something to behold: " Blulans? Mor like BluAwesome! S11ULT a bit more expensive than a handful of bikes but this is carbon fiber and you know what that is to mean: top of the notches and the best buck bang on the market area. I have one in my dreams and in the garageway I are many reasons for superior performance. Firstly is one shock and then another shock. The response is overwhelming. For the number 2 reason is the Blulang legacy and industry leading excellence. If you are familiar with Role Royce...

7/25/2025 6:46am I think Intense is mostly a victim of their own hubris. There is no doubt they've been a huge influence in the market, especially in decades past, but that has waned considerably. I think they began losing luster once Sapa/Anodizing Inc shuttered frame building ops in OR, as then they went Asian carbon manufacturing. That didn't jibe well with many of the fans of the brand. Then you have them pulling out of the LBS's, and I remember being in SoCal and amazed at the number of shops that carried them prior to that. Talk about a kick to the...

7/24/2025 8:55am Bike Rumor reporting Intense exiting UK and EU markets " citing ongoing economic challenges in the global cycling industry." Somehow incredibly not surprising.

7/22/2025 9:10am When the poors started showing up to group rides in Rapha on last model year's bike, PNS and MAAP were standing by ready to rinse the REAL roadies with even more muted earth tone offerings.

7/21/2025 12:00pm Jeff, respectfully, there's this theme in your posts where you assume (I'm paraphrasing) "if only these companies had a good CFO things would turn out differently." If only YT had "sophisticated financial planning and analysis tools," if only they were "watching macro indicators to understand where consumer demand is headed," and "looking at appropriate comps to learn from," if only they'd "started to stress test their model and realized they had a problem with respect to volume and turns against their debt obligations while running a low margin business." Instead, it looks like "CFOing was absent. Nobody was ringing the...

11/4/2024 8:01am Yeah, absolutely crazy. https://escapecollective.com/the-pros-closet-is-back/ Honestly, I was hoping they would stay down. Having companies like this lead to a dramatically over valued used bike market, with no real turnover.
