man, i don't know what it is w/ all the marketing conspiracy lately, but the filmer showed me these clips months ago, before the giant video came out and i thought they were rad. i thought vital viewers would be stoked on them, so i asked if vital could run the clips in this format. the clips were not pushed on vital by any brand. that's it, that's all.

It would be awesome to see Troy regain the form he had before his big injury prior to last season. He was poised to make some noise - not that he didn't this season. He'll get that friggin' win next season for sure!

An epic season - and finale - that we would have seen and known a lot less about without that crew. Thank you!!

Stoked on Stevie - he rode the hell out of that track today and was obviously more hungry after the beeps. Somewhat gutted for Bruni - thought he had the run after he put time into Bryceland...they'll both be forces to deal with next season for sure. Quite the season! It started like it was going to be Gee's season of domination and he'd be taking off like Gwin or Hill. Instead Smith turned out to be that guy. Going back to last year's finals, he's won 4 world-cups. If he comes into next season with the form/mindset he's had...

We have had word that Minnaar has done damage to his cruciate ligament and the meniscus. So to sum up at this point, the war of attrition that is a season of DH racing has left us without Gwin, Hart, Minnaar, Hill and Macdonald among the usual podium threats.

Turn the vital volume down a bit, open this link in a separate tab and enjoy the perfect soundtrack for these clips. Fun with ghetto editing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2zgB93KANE

He's listed as DNF and is a protected rider. He's in if he chooses to race at this point since he did start his quali-run.

So, it all comes down to the last run of the year and, essentially, the rider that finishes higher will take the overall. You cannot script it any better.
