5/5/2024 6:16am Bro. For how much experience Warner bros has they are complete shit at matching audio/visual. Same thing as last year. Get to hear commentators announce finish times while they’re still on the motorway. Amateur hour.

9/19/2019 9:22am Interesting,Pinkbike actually did the same thing and now they don't post who won on their front page.If I haven't seen the race I definitely don't go to Vital because of this very reason.Never got to where I thought my opinion mattered so much I thought they should change what they do for just me.People just want to complain about any and everything.I just appreciate all the FREE coverage I get from you Vital,THANKS!

9/19/2019 9:21am Whether your opinion is right or wrong, there are a fair number of your readers who agree with Peter. We just don't act like dicks about it...

9/19/2019 9:20am You can fiercely defend your position all you want. The reality is spoiling races is going to pull traffic away from your website. And posting an inflammatory defense of the strategy and telling us we're all babies for wanting to both enjoy the suspense of our favorite sporting event AND still get to visit one of our favorite websites just makes people want to visit even less. The only real baby in this scenario is the person plugging their ears to feedback and lobbing insults at their customers.

9/19/2019 9:20am It wouldn't be that difficult to make the headline read "race results here," Instead of "Bob Bitchin' wins the race," would it? I mean, that way, the various editors of the news outlets can continue to make the world a better place for Peter. And the rest of us would be clicking the link anyway.

9/19/2019 9:19am I’m in the don’t post the results in the headlines camp. I avoid Vital from race morning until I’ve gotten to watch the race, which could be days later, and visit PB instead. That way I can keep enjoying all the other bike related stuff but not have the race semi ruined for me.

Nic Cotton Liked a comment about Press Release Developing: Trek World Racing Wants Aaron Gwin Back, Whiteley May Pursue Legal Action
1/8/2013 10:06am Neither you nor anyone else here really knows what went on with TWR/Gwin. Calling him unprofessional when you don't have the full story strikes me as slightly unfair. From what I have read of Gwin (bearing in mind I have never even met him, so this is completely my opinion of him), he seems quite placid. Certainly, he doesn't come across as brash so I would assume there is more to this than currently meets the eye (see tweet below). Anyway, that's me speculating now too.

1/8/2013 10:06am Up next, Maxxis says everyone owes them royalty money from when teams sharpied out their logo to avoid sponsorship conflicts, but use good rubber. (DUREX is also rumored to pursue legal action over damages incurred from the improper use of "rubbers" as marketing slang).

12/4/2012 8:17pm One technique I've been using for a while is to put the cassette on backwards, so that the cogs closest to my spokes are the smallest anyway, preventing that big, nasty drop into the spokes if you over shift. Problem solved! Plus, to my understanding this does not void the SRAM warranty.

11/25/2012 7:14pm I'm not going to get into an argument on the internet with you. I have 10 years of bike shop experience and have competed in down hill since I was a junior. Do this technique if you'd like thats your right. I personally will just adjust my limits as designed, align my deraileur hanger with the tool and will continue to do so on my customers bikes. And maybe a guy as fast as swentz can get away with not running that highest gear (I've tried chasing him before and know he doesn't need it) But for the rest of...

11/25/2012 12:17pm Hate to say it guys, but pretty bad advice. If you already are having to limit the deraileur limits to account for the spacer, why not just limit it properly so you don't shift into the spokes. Or if you want to keep it that much further, just limit out your lowest gear- a gear your much less likely to use on a DH bike than the 11 tooth. Adjust it properly or take it to a shop who can. That being said, thanks for providing everyone in the shop today a good laugh.

11/25/2012 12:14pm I dont get it, just adjust your derail properly and you wont have an issue. Taking 1 cog out and moving the whole cassette over aint gonna help it from jumping into the wheel. Unless you only ride in 1st all the time...
