6/20/2022 2:58pm Looks like a braking bump hellhole if you ask me. We already had Lenzerheide for a full speed-one line for all bikepark track. The people (and the racers!) want natural,tech courses.

Just watched the DH WC race. I don't own a DH bike, I probably never will. I have walked a few courses and watched a few races in the flesh, it always boggles my mind how mental these courses are, you get no perspective on how insane and steep they are until you are watching someone fly down sections you'd be walking... never mind you can't walk down half of it, let alone up. And at the end of 4 minute course, the top ten is within fractions of a second of each other which is bonkers to me. This...

6/9/2022 4:04pm I've stayed up until 5am twice to watch the Whistler EWS livestream. Both years it was boring and confusing,with a few fixed cameras on the last meters of the last stage. If someone is willing to broadcast it, they have to do a way better job than that.

Would it be better to compare DH to MX/SX and Enduro to.... Enduro? It seems like there is very little coverage of Enduro moto but most people would ride that style of bike/tracks more than SX/MX but pretty much only watch SX/MX... But they probably dont even watch Outdoor National's becomes of the shit coverage MAVTV. I hope Disco+ does better than them I wonder how many bike companies are sticking with EWS because they're pushing E-EWS? I do like enduro and have raced EWS. I would like to see more coverage, I wish we could see more photos or...

EWS itself released a 38 minute weekend recap today, on their own channel and GMBN. Whatever you want to say about GMBN, doesn't really matter right now since they're the ones that got tapped to cover at least this season. And ss many have said, it's harder to cover than DH, but even Red Bull and UCI don't even have their (much shorter) DH recaps until a day or two after the event.
