In 2019 they replaced the proprietary mount to the yoke with a standard eyelet. It’s also rotated 90 degrees from the front eyelet. Although I have no personal experience, the new design should eliminate frame flex inducing any lateral forces on the shock, which was the problem with the old design.

This is the setup I run most of the time and, I agree, it rips. I sometimes wonder what a 29x2.4WT Aggressor would be like, though. If you make it, I will buy it.
