8/27/2013 10:47am Sven is all class when it comes to his professional contribution to the sport. Epic photos, poignant captions, and overall feel for what's important in racing and riding bikes that is unmatched in my opinion. Thanks for another great one to both Sven and Vital.

8/15/2013 7:29pm I was signed to the Smith Optics team earlier this season, and they asked me to be a part of this project a few months ago. I was fortunate enough to be able to do so. I will use the Forefront for my open face helmets and continue to use TLD Gear and the TLD D3 for all my full face helmet needs.

8/7/2013 8:55pm
Review by Johan Hjord // Photos by Tal Rozow and Johan Hjord Kneepads are an essential piece of protective equipment, worn by almost every rider who likes to get a bit rowdy from time to time. Elbow pads are perhaps a slightly less common sight on the trail, but many riders will still reach for them when things get a bit hectic, or just for a little extra peace of mind. Race Face has been producing a line of pads (or guards) for a number of years already, offering a full range of protection for different applications. The Ambush line...

Overall this is a pretty amazing bike - the rear suspension design allows efficient pedalling and uphills are easy despite the weight -which with decent tyres is around 14.5 kg. Desceding the rough stuff was not the revelation I had hoped it would be but the bike is extremely competent. After 14 rides, I am still sorting the suspension and I think it will be a great descender once I am finished with it. It definitely has the capacity to be the One bike that does everything. I would race an XC/marathon race on it with a longer stem and lighter...

6/27/2013 12:01am What he said. I've been running XX1 on two bikes now for about 600 miles total (not at the same time--bought a new frame and swapped over) and 8 races run, 9 more for sure scheduled, and at least three or four more not yet figured out. All but two races have been enduros over rowdy to rowdy-plus terrain, including 4 at night with helmet and bar lights. I also do a lot of night training because it fits my schedule. The other two races were Super D's over wide-open to slightly rowdy terrain. Races yet to come are enduros...

Congratulations to Tracey and healing vibes to Fabien. But in my knowledge of the use of "Taking one for the team." it would apply to Fabien who took the bullet (Injury.) for the team. Whereas Tracy "Did the team proud." by winning for her injured and missing teammates. Perhaps I'm full of it. Or lacking it. Or just plain wrong. Anyway, good job Tracy. I'm hoping you can challenge Rachel this season.

He obviously has spare testicles, because he wasn't any less loose in his race run. Ouch.

6/15/2013 8:30pm That rear shock really needs a remote lockout. It doesn`t look that easy to mess with the shock lever with it being so low
