You can't win the race on the glacier but you can lose it. Alba Wunderlin, Anne Caroline Chausson, Anka Martin and Lorraine Truong head into the first, icy off-camber right hander after the first steep pitch. If you look closely you will see only Anne makes it through the turn. Anka (middle) gets tangled in the catch net for three minutes and her chances of a repeat podium disappear, despite passing back over twenty girls once free.
