Because the downside with transmission is, if you shift in to easier gears too fast, is the cage hits the casette. The derailleur regardless of wireless or wired, only shifts when it hits the ramps in the casette (or the chain climbs I should say), so if you are far away from the ramp, and dump a few gears, it will shift take a while for the chain to climb up, and hit the casette. I have encountered this in the beginning when I ran transmission, and iirc its when you dump about 3 gears. So that would be my...

BTW, the MacRide comes with everything you need to use the seat on two bikes. No need to "purchase extra adapters" unless you want to be able to quickly move it between more that two bikes.

They have an actuator that will be free at the time of purchase that will work with SC frames. It's not compatible with the V1 droppers.

Anyone know if the retrofit SPIN kits mentioned in the article were ever made available? I've got an OCTAL X that I'd like to get SPUN.
