Serious question, what is the issue people have with centerlock? Am I the only one who's enjoyed using them? Quick to change and install. I've never had an issue personally. Have I just been lucky?

Would add Specialized to this. Class-leading bikes in all categories - Epic Evo, Stumpjumper, Stumpy Evo, Enduro and Demo. That's a pretty incredible lineup, and that's before we get into the E-bikes...

Yeah you’d hope to be paid well when all you have to ride are open mold Chinese frames and filing cabinets

Generalizing everyone that has ridden an eMTB "E-MTBers act like they the exception to the rules"....is bullshit. As I say in every trail meeting i've been to when this is brought up, we have always had 'an asshole' problem, it existed before electrics. This problem exists in skate, snow, surf, tennis, golf, etc.....not everyone is a cool law abiding person. So theres that. Oh, and your analogy about the bikes being heavier causing more damage-is funny. So-I am 140lbs, am I supposed to call anyone 160lbs and up a 'trail terrorizer'? Your last comment about EMTBers being rich, not working...

I dont think you can completely crap on social media sponsorships, mainly because we get to see some of those dudes ride way more than we get to see a lot of racers (ews especially) ride. How much riding footage from ews do you see? I dont really get the youtube star sponsorships, because most the dudes cant ride, but some of the IG dudes that are just posting short edits to IG, guys like 50 to 01/canne of waves dudes, jasperpemberton, bikerbrayd, etc, can actually shred and you get to see footage of them almost daily. They probably do...

I know at least 3. 2 from UK and 1 from Canada The article might be true for the US but not for Europe and from vital I expect a little more openness and not such narrow minded view

Pros only riding ebikes for commercial is simply not true. So Many pros use ebikes because they’re just fun. They just don’t show it on their daily insta. The Cycling market is driven by Europe and they understand ebikes. This article shows that it’s still a long way to go for the US and especially for US journalists.

I've been mountain biking for quite awhile now (1988). I've owned many different bikes over the years, DH, Freeride, Enduro, trai, etc. I recently bought an Ebike and I will never go back to a mechanical/traditional mtb. I've found climbing to actually be creative and FUN now!-having the ability to pop off of everything on the way up is amazing. Other than occasionally enjoying a random, easy-ish climb when your mind wanders and blends with the meandering undulations of the climb, Climbing SUCKS! (for me at least) Ebikes have turned this SUCKS into FUN!. Additionally, I've found descending, jumping etc...

Part of Gwin's move from Specialized was because he didn't like rivalry within the team ie. having a fast team mate (Brosnan). He wants the team to be focussed on him. It's not like Moir is a slouch. Looking at his form during 2017 he is capable of challenging Gwin for victories if he can stay injury free. If Moir is up to speed in 2019 it should make for a very interesting season :-) Edit - not sure why I've been downvoted. I didn't make this stuff up. I remember Gwin saying he would rather have a younger rider...
