4/9/2026 8:31am I probably haven’t been up Cypress in 15 years and of all the days to randomly go up there to teach my son to drive stick in the parking lot…. lol

4/2/2026 10:29am Well it's confirmed (by email), RMU (Rocky Mountain Underground, the ski company) is making a bike (with DW) That likely explains the aluminium not-a-pivot we saw some time ago (photos in this thread). Well done folks, it was figured out here first

3/12/2026 7:10pm No you're right and I can also convince myself it's made of metal (I feel I can see a weld along the top-tube junction to the head-tube)

3/12/2026 6:13pm Am I crazy or does the cable guide on Tommy G's new rocky head tube look different than any of their current bikes?

3/11/2026 1:09pm Great question. You'd think so, but no. Because the BB sits below the axles, and because FC and RC are measured from the center of the hub axle to the center of the BB, the FC and RC don't form a straight line. They form a slight "V" as they both dip down to the BB. Then you consult Pythagorus to get the exact difference in length. [Editor's note: This is wrong. See @kperras post below for full and correct explanation]

2/17/2026 9:48am I follow the snowboarding event very closely, I love the build-up (when athletes ride at Revelstoke and surrounds, also the head-to-heads they did last year), I was really impressed with the ski version they did last year (it felt like a FWT but with a refreshingly new venue). The bike version somehow lacks the hype. It might be because the...

2/16/2026 2:18pm I mean, nothing in this thread is really that relevant in the scheme of things, yet here we are. I know my life isn't changed that spec may have a little half moon of a text logo over their butts this year.

2/8/2026 10:10am Dude: maybe that's just not practical? Every video I've seen from Dyfi shows a fuck-ton of shale. Which is great for rain. Maydena looked like all clay. During the early practice, the upper, tree-covered surfaces stayed dry, but by the time Troy came down, even much of that was slippy. After a short period of rain, the berms and jumps at the bottom were already slippery and clogging-up tires. Then there was several hours of rain. How exactly are you going to fix that? Gravel under every single surface? Even if you did that, it takes hours / a day...

1/11/2026 10:41pm Appreciate the kind words 🙏 that genuinely means a lot. We try. We keep trying. And yeah, when I say we, I really do mean me. Still just one bloke doing everything: product, riders, logistics, emails at stupid o’clock, the lot. No staff, no big safety net. Just belief and stubbornness. The industry doesn’t make it easy for small independents. The big dogs have deeper pockets and louder voices, but that was always kind of the point. Do cool shit, build something authentic, and if it ruffles a few feathers along the way, so be it. I’m proud that Viris...

1/6/2026 11:41pm After some zoom-ins, some squints, and sending to my friends at Law & Order SVU for some "enhance" action: It looks like Dak will be racing the Trans Robitussin race next year on MS Beef Tallow Tombraider. I think they were riding Crestlines in 2025. AI is SO cool.
