It's like Alonso, Hamilton or Vettel going around shopping for a new F1 team with quite a few top options being open (there weren't any, so Alonso's shopping this year wasn't interesting). It gets talked about, analysed, speculated, he/they get interviewed, asked about it on social media, etc. We will be done with it about a month after he makes his plans...

I think we are more or less on the same page here I have nothing against discussing bikes related to riders switching teams. If you see Gwin riding a shock which looks very similar to an RS Deluxe: bring it on! Endless discussions about a wheelsize of a SC bike and if a certain Fox shock fits or not? Loris was on SC and is on SC, and if a shock fits or not has not much to do with who is going where. The debate about the SC bike was killed a page earlier and then a page later...

I cant see the Gwin to Intense thing happening. But him moving back to Trek, that makes much more sense. Gee earlier this year talked about how he was blown away with treks prototype and testing support when they were testing the 29er. He said he sent them a bunch of comments and suggestions and next time out Trek had like 4 different bikes for him to try out and a shit ton of people out helping with the bike tests. Trek likes winning at shit, they take racing pretty seriously as do a lot of the biiiig companies. Gwin...

Remember, Gwin left specialized because he wanted to maintain control over his program... Specialized wanted him to go head to toe Specialized and that would have meant dropping other sponsors that were also paying him... Several smaller checks might be worth more than one big check...
