That new Fox kit is a clever attempt to take advantage of potential loopholes as to how clothing rules are worded in the UCI regulations for mtb ( see page 26). My personal opinion is that it violates the original intent as to why the regulation was written but is probably compliant to the verbiage of the rule. As this is a UCI World Cup event, I expect the PCP and the UCI-appointed TD to provide their opinion on the matter as soon as this particular kit is brought up in a managers' meeting or by another team. Don't see how it could possibly be legal for race runs given those rules. The rule about "being sold" can sometimes be waived if they have verifiable plans to sell it in the near future, but it's clearly a one-piece skinsuit constructed for an aerodynamic advantage.

My 2 cents. I don't care how many pieces it is, if the whole get up is skin tight lets not split hairs, its a skinsuit. Nuke it and bring back the Palmer days, its not a good look or a representation of mountain biking.
